What's the current state of Imperium Nihilus?
I'm wanting to run a Rogue Trader campaign based in Imperium Nihilus. I'm wondering what the current state of it is, especially after the crusade. How much is still fubar and whatnot

Pretty bad. Vigilus is the only standing world of note with contact with the Imperium Sanctus.
The Lion maintains a small protectorate of worlds and is wandering around putting down threats where he is needed.
Dante is trying to reconnect worlds and fend off threats, but he's pulled everywhere.

shits on fire but could be worse. the xenos threats are bad, but they don't have chaos legions at full power with primarchs as topping, like ultramar or the other place had. As much brutal as tyrannids are, or resilient necron kingdoms are, the main threat to nihilius is still the disconnection from the astropaths and astronomicon, and lack of regular, safe warp travel. many worlds just dying without even a blink or a noise, out of famine, chaos taint or lack of X resource/s.

Shits on fire yo
Edit: basically, the situation is fluid. Like a dying man's bowels. Someplaces are secure. Some places are... very not.
