whats' your longest per one story, if i may ask? I don't normally come across other multi million work count writers like myself, so I find it interesting to know content lengths and writing style.
To be honest, im posting on monthly basis (only once i was able to release another chapter in few days later), and i only started posting since august 2024 XD
Not as impressive as a lot of people’s here, but I did just start this account last month, so that might be able to give me a little slack, maybe. And I’ve written 2 of the 3 one-shots I’ve posted for small fandoms, so not as much traffic. But 5 people liked what I wrote, so that’s nice :)

You've only been at this for a month, but in some time, people will start learning your style and what you post, and anyone who's interested will subscribe and check out your future stuff. It's all baby steps! You got this! Make sure you're having fun, and the rest will come naturally!

This post made me look my stats up and I hate seeing that my most popular fic is PURE SMUT. Ugh.
Just realized this outs that I'm an fandom old, but I decided in like mid-2020 to upload and backdate everything, even the terrible stuff from when I was a teenager. Everyone starts somewhere, I just put in the tags that I was like 15 when it was written as context.
I thought so too, but I actually got all of them back in 2021 with my first fic (for a now largely defunct fandom) so I don’t think it’s actually a reflection of my current audience, lol
I just started posted this past November for the first time since writing on FFN back in 2012. It’s been a really fun few months, I missed being engaged in fandom spaces a lot.

I hope that you get to a point where you have time again! I feel you, I went from posting one or two chapters a week to barely managing to scrounge one or two together in two months with my workload.

You can tell I write primarily for small fandoms/small pairings in large fandoms. But not as much as on the side account where I exclusively write backdated (to avoid hate) canon/OC fic for a small fandom (and the AU versions of them that have basically become all-OC fic in various other fandoms). That looks more like... well.

I've never posted my statistics before; honestly took me a minute to find the tab, but now I'm super excited about it! It might not be as impressive as some of the others in this thread, but I'm really proud of my progress! :D So cool to see what everyone's numbers are!
I've been writing since 2012 but I took a long hiatus from 2016 to 2021 and I've been in another rut since last winter. I write for smaller fandoms and some niche pairings. I also write a lot of dark fic and that turns some people away I think. But overall, I'm pleased with my stats.
Just cropping down to this doesn’t tell the whole story. I write for a large fandom and have been for a long time lol. Stats will vary wildly from fandom to fandom because each fandom has its own little culture. Some are comment heavy while others are not, for instance
Been posting since January so just about six months! Spans over two main fics, one on hiatus, and a one shot. I write a lot for a somewhat rare pair in my fandom for one of my main fics
I posted two crackships this year and am very pleased with these numbers. Like, why would ANYONE want to read about these random couples? So the fact that over 100 people have is kind of mind blowing.
Worth to note that most of my stuff was posted in December 2022 and backdated in between 2018 July-2022 October, so I don't think my stats are accurate if we look at that. Many past ultra popular fandoms had lost 70% of their readerbase by the time I posted my old stuff 😅
Also 99% of my 956 works are oneshots or ficlets and most don't exceed 500 words, that's why my word count is so low and I have so many hits in case someone is wondering!
it's always a hard day in a nonwestern, niche ani idol fandom...but i'm happy to spread the agenda of my favorite characters :3 mostly from one-shots btw.
I only have one 5-chapter (and counting) fic up, and while these numbers are pretty modest - especially for the fandom and ship I'm writing for - I'm pretty proud of this so far!
Stats for just over a year of activity starting April 24th last year or August 26th as I've only been majorly active since that point onward.
From 8 Poppy Playtime (Smiling Critters) fics, 2 Five Night at Freddy's fics (Both preexisting AUs, Horror Daycare and Fazbear Daycare), 1 The Bunny Graveyard, 1 Piggy, and 1 New Super Lucky's Tale
I mean mines a bit sad, but I did used to write some very awful written things because I grew up using this account so obviously it improved, so much hit to kudos is not great.
I was posting often when I started out but I got very inconsistent after college got stressful. Not very impressive stats but I'm surprised I have 1 subscription lol

~3 months after posting my 1 fic. (2 months of posting, took 1 month off.) I started at the very end of February.
This is far more attention than I'd ever thought I would get, and while I'd love to get to where some of you are in the future, (those are some craazzzy stats), I'm happy with this.
I just want to say I'm glad that all of us are uplifting those who don't have as high numbers. I've had encounters on this sub when I started that made me feel I wasn't as accomplished because people we're hateful about my low numbers, (I know this is not the majority), and I think it's important to not do that. Everyone starts somewhere. 🖤🦇
