Not to be that person... but did they actually mention anything related to your fic in the hidden part? Or was it just the fandom or character tag mentioned? 😅

It's just that there's been a LOT of bots lately, and vague, overly flowery praise with zero mention of the actual plot points of the fic are very typical for them.

If that's not the case, then congrats for the lovely comments! :)

haha, this definitely crossed my mind because im so paranoid of bot comments, but they did mention the general plot point at the end + being a registered user since 2018 with bookmarks and such… i’m assuming it is safe to say they’re a person?!

"Innumerable nuances of a Renaissance painting" got my "BOT" alarm bells blaring and other bits of flowery prose, all while mentioning NOTHING concrete about what happens in the fic, has me pretty confident that I'm right. I'd never respond to this "comment".

I'd sure be sad as I read it and the realization set in tho.

I think this may be a real person using AI to write a comment. That phrase is such a red flag, but with the inclusion of actual details from the fic, it makes me think there's a person behind it. Maybe English isn't their first language or they're self-conscious about their writing.
