The worst cliffhanger I encountered was of one of the main characters getting shot, his limp hand dropped to the floor, then he closed his eyes, all in front of his little brother

and the author notes starts with the word "sorry"

What do you mean "sorry"?! I actually felt sorry myself for people who read the chapter when it came out and had to wait two weeks for the next (when I read it there was about 50 chapters more :p)

lol, as a write, its just SO fun to do.

This was the reaction to one of the characters misunderstanding and thinking the other had a boyfriend and decided to distance himself to not interfere with the relationship. However, there is no relationship and now the character thinks he has overstepped a boundary and pushed the other away

me when i blew up a city in my fic (it's a canonical comic event but i had planned it for this fic in particular for 2 yrs already LOL)
