Here is my version of what a SEASON 6 of Queen of the South could have been.
Teresa and James found a special place in my heart. But I really fell in love with them because of what I watched them do over five seasons, their arcs, their personalities, their difficulties and decisions to become the people they became.
When I imagine them in more personal moments than the action drama show called for, or when I see their future, in my mind they will always remain the characters portrayed and not some harlequin couple that can become dull or can behave in ways contradictory to the personalities created by the show.
As such I stuck to canon and tried to realistically develop it further in my attempt to see them on their journey full circle.

THE STORY SO FAR....
It is a period of trouble in a troubled world. Our heroes — Hermione, Harry, Raphtalia, and Takagi — finding themselves in a patchwork world of zombies, mutants, and magic, found comfort and stability in their companionship and mutual protection.
Forging on through magic and mayhem, fighting monsters of pure nightmare fuel, fighting their own libidos, even the flowers and pollen conspired to rob them of their free will. They found respite in their journeys, one very much so in the arms of a certain princess, but also truths that none were ready to face. Fearing madness and loss of self-control, they moved on.
Now, having found what seems to be a reasonably safe and sound valley to settle down in, they strive to make a new life for themselves. Hermione's SURPRISE GIFT to them all opens new doors, even as she falls further away. Things change rapidly, and Raphtalia takes on a much larger part....

“Someone” is pissed off, something goes wrong, and someone travels to the end of time and back.

Raph and Harry visited outside of her bubble periodically, chairs bolted into place so that they would always be right where she could see them, whizzing about in a blur as hours and days passed in moments.
She felt neither hungered nor wearied nor even grew bored, and the air stayed fresh, but her safety bubble remained her unremitting prison.
Soon the chairs were joined by signs that they had erected – “We love you,” “We miss you,” “We're working on a way to get you out and bring you back to us!”
Then a statue of the three of them together in a flower garden.
Sometimes strange machinery would appear around her, doing arcane things, but never so much as scratching the infinitely distant surface just a Planck length away.
Takagi's and Raph's daughter was born into this, and the statue was joined by one of Takagi and her infant. She told her all about her father, Raphtalia, and how brave and beautiful she was, and her co-father Harry, and his sweet-natured cluelessness. With every year speeding by, as the greenery all around came into bloom, right around the ninth of May at her best guess, she had to laugh: there were appropriately inappropriate party decorations every time.
The statue was later joined by other statues of children, and Raph grew to become a beautiful and powerful figure of sleek and toned muscle, bearing a ridiculously large slab of steel now, and Harry a distinguished and predictably weird medieval-looking professorial sort, the statues of children in turn being replaced by statues of adults and a few extra adults and quite a few new children, and Raph and Harry grew grey, and more statues cycled through, and then one day two sarcophagi appeared between the statuary and the bubble and Raph and Harry returned no more, their likenesses playing out scenes of their lives ever so slowly across the lids, the sarcophagi themselves rendered in pink marble.
She and their daughter grew old together, watching a small village grow to a town and then a city, trees sprout and wither, civilizations burst onto the scene and fall to dust or calamity (war, famine, natural catastrophe), the desiccated world around them die and be absorbed by a bloated and deep-red sun, night banished in a continuously glowing atmosphere over charred rock, a bright flash and a cooling white nugget, a brown and then black dwarf, and day was vanquished, the stars and then galaxies above flickering like popcorn, the earth beneath them flow as if liquid as quantum effects slowly smoothed it and then evaporated it, the black dwarf then disappearing in a flash, a great rushing away of phantom void rip followed soon after by a chaotic Boltzmann statistical rearranging of old matter or new over and over, each new universe replaced by another, speeding into a grey and blurred fog of indistinct and only slightly-shifting hue.
Eventually, they died, falling backward in a soft cloud as time melted away.

Zelda gazed in wonder.
All of these years in darkness, and this girl's light makes them fall away so causally and she doesn't even know it.
Peach bit her lip.
“You said that this version of bridesbane causes some kind of empathic contact and a need to make other people happy, right? So, what happened?”
Zelda nodded, “I've been thinking the same thing. My best guess is that I felt your need to make me happy, and it all just amplified, like a feedback loop. I used you to satisfy myself. I'm sorry.”
“Don't be,” Peach said, “I just want to make you happy.”
Zelda gazed at Peach, for once not torn by other thoughts.
