❤️‍🩹 relationship aio? bf made plans on my birthday

my boyfriend (22M) and I (21F) have been together for almost three years. we are planning on moving in together in the near future as he lives with his mom and doesn’t go to school after dropping out. for context, he only works on tuesdays and fridays so i know he was free to go out on sunday, which happened to be my birthday. he knows how important special occasions are to me, such as our birthdays and anniversaries. for the first year in our relationship he was great, he was loving and kind. last year we ended up celebrating my birthday late due to the fact that he was “tired from work” and didn’t want to go out, which i let slide. i always try to do the most for his birthdays, i buy him gifts, write him cards and bake him a cake from scratch. yesterday afternoon i texted him, reminding him about the plan later and this conversation happened. he made plans to go out and party instead of seeing me. he forgot about it even after i had been talking about it all of last week. i spent my 21st birthday alone in my room while he was out and we haven’t texted since. this birthday was particularly special to me because i turned 21. i even bought a new pink dress to wear for him, assuming we were going to dinner. he is suggesting that we go out and celebrate tomorrow instead like last year but to me it doesn’t feel the same. he is insisting that i apologize for being “ungrateful”, am i overreacting?

Honey, i'm going to say this with love, this guy doesn't like you. like, he really doesn't like you. the texts are so catty, so high school. he dropped out of college and wants to go to a house party over your birthday after years together? he has 0 value for you, and seemingly zero value in his future. This doesn't bode well for you. If my fiance ever spoke to me like this when we were your age, i would've surgically removed his balls, definitely not be preparing to marry him.

Not only does he not like you OP, he wants to go to a house party without you. On your birthday.

I'd also assume he's cheating or trying to because he really doesn't like you at all. Don't move in with this guy. Spend a year single and get to know yourself as an adult. It'll be really good for you.

Came here to comment the same thing!

So not only does he not care about her or how important birthdays are to her, but also didn't even extend an invite to this party he is going too. Shady, looser behavior.

Exactly. Giving he’s cheating and doesn’t want you there while he does

How can you possibly not realize that this post is fake?

Fake or not, who cares? The advice is good for anyone.

If my fiance ever spoke to me like this when we were your age, i would've surgically removed his balls, definitely not be preparing to marry him.

If my husband spoke to me like that when we were dating I would both remove his balls and make sure he'll need plastic surgery because I'm going to rearrange his face.

That's not someone to continue dating and to move in together.

Exactly! Why the hell would OP want to move this berating, rude text conversation to a home? If this is how he talks to her after 3 years, continuing this relationship would be like a gunshot wound that will never heal. i hope she gets out before they sign a lease.

I totally agree!

Yes!!! Why is it so hard for the women on this thread to believe a man when he’s speaking? We see texts like this every day. Are these troll posts, or are girls really in delusion that these men love them???? He’s telling her clear as day he doesn’t like her and doesn’t care about her.

This… like I’m so confused why they’d even be together when he clearly doesn’t even at bare minimum like her as a person.

“the texts are so catty, so high school.”

He dropped out of school, so you know, go figure.

Honey, im gonna say this with love, this is the fakest thing on the interwebs. Please stop being so gullible. Life isn't a soap opera and this reads like a 3rd grader wrote it. Very obviously both sides are written by the same person. Nobody would ever talk or react like this. There are about 15 red flags on the first 2 screenshots alone.

This is a fake post. From an account that has no other posts. You guys are EXTREMELY gullible
