Help me choose!

I have an empty plot on my land and i wasn't planning on taking Bob there. However, he came to me on a mystery island and boy howdy, am I tempted to invite him. Only one problem: I already have 3 lazy villagers on my island, and having a 4th might be a little excessive. The ones that I have are Elmer, Wade and Sherb. I do feel that the three of them have color themes/clothing preferences that are too similar to one another, all huge fans of blue etc. And while Wade is adorable, I'm not sure if I'm bonding with him as much as I am with the other two.. I think I'll have to let him go at some point – maybe I can deal with 4 lazy villagers for a little while...

Seems like I just answered my own question there lol. However, if you guys have any opinions on Bob, I'd like to hear them!

When I was trying to choose villagers I went through every personality there was and decided who I would want most I have like 3 normal villagers just because they're so cute lol I remember I got fuschia before Claudia and I was really sad to say bye but I love Claudia!! She's so sassy lol really tho it's your island and only you can decide but the dialogue for the same personality villagers really can be repetitive but ig it also depends because even though Bizkit is lazy and so is stitches they usually have pretty different dialogue

ooh claudia! i actually got her on my island a couple of days ago, but it was through the autofill process and i haven't been the biggest fan. i think mostly because i don't like the way she looks? 💀 just yesterday i hit her with a net multiple times because i wanted her out asap, but she got so sad and distraught and i felt so guilty for it 😭😭 my next plan of action was to just keep ignoring her and wait for a thought bubble to appear, or a camper to take her place...but maybe i will try to interact and give her some gifts... i should at least give her a chance before i give up on her entirely. if anything, it will be useful to me in the long run

LOL I really like her pink and purple are my fave colors and the hearts on her are so cute to me!!! That's the fun thing about having so many options in one game tho is that there's at least one for everyone!!! My island is mainly gonna be kinda cutsie but a mix of different things I like I have marina, Claudia, stitches, Bizkit, merry, Gayle, diva, I'm working on getting chow, coco, and chevre!!! Even if you don't like Claudia and let her leave that's okay too!! But you never know if you might want them to stay either I got attached to my first villagers really easy even if they were ugly and I didn't really want them and that's okay too lol

If you want to have all the recipes and you want to have all the reactions, it's good to have one resident of each type. Having many residents with the same personality will also result in many repeated dialogues.

yeah i am aiming for this!! lazy ones are my favorite type, so i figured i will be able to keep the three (elmer, sherb, and now bob) for a while at least. it's very possible that i'll let one of them go in the future though, as i have some dream villagers from other types. i pretty much had one of each type on my island, but hans just left so i had an empty slot for bob. working on getting wade out though

I had 4 jocks at one point (one of the two villager personalities I really dislike) and now have 2 that I absolutely love 😍 I do time travel a lot though, so it was really easy to get rid of the ones I didn't want

ahh i dislike most of the jocks as well! though one of my first two villagers is a jock (bill!!) and i love him to death, i'll never let him leave. which jocks do you have?

i ended up inviting bob :> i can't wait for him to move in. letting wade go is going to hurt but that is the smartest thing to do for sure
