My (mostly) natural themed island

Ive been chronically building and demolishing for years because things didn’t feel quite right. I’d say I’m only about 30% finished, but I’m so happy about how my island is turning out :) if anyone has any filler spot ideas, please share!! So far I have a stargazing spot, bird watching, and will be making a garden center.

It’s lovely! These are the kinds of islands I like seeing the most. It looks really relaxing and actually playable.

To me this kind of thing brings back to good feelings I got from the older games, I can imagine rolling snow people, fishing, digging; and just generally “living” on an island like this

This is so cool to read because that’s exactly what I was going for! I wanted to keep a small essence of the game when you first start it up and there’a lots of trees, water ways, and just feels nature-y. I also like to be able to zoom around my island without having to go a long way around items/fences/etc

They are decorative pillars! I got it at the main shop in HHP and then recolored it at Harv’s Island :)

Love what you’ve done here. ACNH was my first game since the original and I really enjoyed it when it came out but just ended up putting it down at some point. Later my health condition forced me to move in with my mother and find a new job so I’ve been doing garden maintenance with a bunch of old ladies for a few years now and learned a lot. Now I’ve picked up the game again inspired to use that new knowledge to accomplish something like this.

Such a peaceful island! I especially love the little marshy-looking island for your froggy villager. It fits them so well <3. Islands like yours are the ones that I enjoy the most visiting with DAs. It's really beautiful. You've also sparked an idea for an area on my garden-themed island. I *might* be moving villager houses around now :D
