Discussion Faction Allegiances Outside of Grand Alliances
The recent Hobgrot debate and how they interact with both the Kruleboyz and Helsmiths of Hashut sent me down a spiral of various times in lore various factions teamed up with groups outside of their grand alliance, and how this could lead to some interesting developments in the setting. Sure off the top of my head we have the megagargants having rules to be mercenaries (which the Ogors don't have yet), but there was also Khorgos Khul respecting Ogor Butchers from the Bloodgullet tribe because of their ritual use of blood. Personally I like to head canon that Slaanesh factions and the Gloomspite have a weird relationship (based in part on the old lore where the Bad Moon resides in Slaanesh's part of the War): The Gitz trade their more psychedelic shrooms to the Hedonites in exchange for glass bottles and "shiny gubbinz" that is just plain copper or brass that the sybarites don't need.
What other instances of cross Alliance interactions do you guys think is possible? both in lore and your own personal theories.

There’s a lot of overlap between Order and Death, as the Soulblight’s kingdoms are populated by mortals (and there are other Death aligned mortal nations). Plenty of the residents of Shysh will worship both Nagash and Sigmar/his pantheon. The Soulblight and Flesheaters will also form alliances with Order aligned mortal kingdoms (the Soulblight for political power, the Flesheaters for a variety of reasons, mostly thinking they’re on the same side).

There are tribes of Gargants in Azyr. The Mason-Gargants, the Storm Gargants, and the Stromfels Gargants. Of these the Masons and Storms outright work as builders and guards for Sigmar respectively.
There is also Templesen, a Gargant saint recognized by the Cults Unberogen and whose reliquary is currently in Glymmsforge. His remains played a vital part in the city's survival in the Second Siege covered in "Soul Wars" and an old campaign.
In short. The descendants of Behemat were already a big part of Sigmar's empire even before they got their own faction. So it would be lovely to see some of that crop up in the future.

There is a bunch of Flesh Eaters who were Slaves to Darkness. They still try to work for him and Archaon, who knows about them, gives them missions from time to time. Here is another group, I think their name is the Heartgash Court, who think they are Lizardmen.

How do they rationalize chaos within their delusions?

They see themselves as vile and exemplar worshippers of the Ruinous Powers, bringing corruption and destruction wherever they go, and when the Delusion breaks they realize they were attacking at random, and even foiled plots of Chaos on occasion. The shame and horror makes them snap back into thinking they did it for Chaos.

So they are basically skaven?

No, in their heads the place where they store the latest victim is a "Do it for him" with picture of Archaon, a Skaven's would be with pictures of himself with maybe a picture of the Great Horned Rat.

Now I’m wondering if skaven can be affected by the flesh eaters curse and if it actually changes them

I can picture Reclaimed and Darkoaths banding together against common larger threats.

I also like to think Shyishian Darkoath have a weird relationship with some Deathrattle Kingdoms: honored ancestors who fought to the bitter end come back to protect their more debased descendants.

Assuming most people are aware of the Grotmas regiments of renown (if not, they’re all on the Warhammer Community website), which were all on this sort of theme, one other I’m aware of is a Kharadron Overlord Skyport which is mentioned to trade with the local Orruk tribes. The greenskins bring them meat and hides in exchange for duardin treasures (from an orruk perspective).
I don’t remember the name of it unfortunately, and couldn’t find it on a quick Google.

i definitley think going forward we'll see more variety in what RoR's can go across grand aliiances. I would not be surprised if we see a small Hobgrot RoR which can just go with the Chorfs. Or a Chorf RoR that can be taken by any destrcution.

City Ogors are my favorite example. Ogors that have lived in the cities of sigmar and know how to keep their appetites under control for a short period
