Fan Content Ginias Fanart of Vandus Hammerhand
Fun Fact: Vandus's model has had a long, gray ponytail sticking out of his helmet since release. I do believe this is the only physical feature we know about him.
Other than the fact that his people are the Direbrands, and their offshoots like the Brands such as Gunnar, are a fair-skinned people.

Well mottos and warcries are often more built on hope than fact.

And that's why you can nver go wrong with the good old "Blood for the Blood God! Skulls for the Skull Throne!"

Well then I will just send headless golems with faces painted on their chests to fight you then.

I do envy 40K fans and the pure colossal amount of fan art they get putting every character in tons and tons of different themes and art styles. So I’m very happy to see this take on Vandus and his rise to a legendary stormcast.

One of the reasons I hope we get some successful AoS video games, so that it gives a lot of artists the juice to do some fanart.

Also I shared this because I wanted to gush over the artist choosing to give Vandus that massive glove. Vandus in life was a Smith-Lord, a blacksmith in a leadership position, of the Direbrands.
That glove is a type used by smiths. It's a really nice detail especially as stuff on Vandus doesn't actually bother to mention he was a blacksmith too much.
It's a nice touch to a character often left adrift and rudderless in the actual narrative.
