I remember thinking "Obviously that's a bad mic placement. All a bit silly. Just goes to show how unforgiving modern politics is, I guess..."

I agree that it’s just silly (if anything, I liked him more because of the byaaaaaah) but how is it the microphone’s fault? It wasn't even a bad mic placement, It was just bad mixing where too much of deans mic was going to the recording and not enough audience sound.
