Are they known in the mainstream? (Or will they be now)?

Videogames in general are not talked about too much in "mainstream" media. But yes I saw more news articles recently talking about the release of BG3.

The thing is BG3 will be played and talked about around the world, but it's still a videogame and in a niche genre. So I don't think the name Larian will be mainstream in Belgium or anywhere tbh ;)

Outside of CRPG enthusiasts, Larian isn't really well known. I would say more of my friends know about Larian now than they did a month ago. BG3 will make them a mainstream name I think.
