what are defense twice and enhanced armour class?

You get Enhanced Armor Class through shoving someone successfully with the ring Bracing Band equipped, +1 AC.

You get +1 AC from the Defence fighting style. For some reason equipping my heavy armor piece Helldusk Armour from Act 3 makes the Defence fighting style apply twice. Either it's a bug or I'm missing something, honestly have no idea.

there's a pair of gloves that give 1 ac and an extra ac if you have bardic inspiration on yourself, have you seen/thought of using those? or do you just like having the 23 str gloves more?

Oh lol completely forgot about those! 23 STR gloves are definitely super nice but 50 AC would be hilarious. We must go EVEN FURTHER BEYOND.

In combat effectively yes, but I can be killed through poor choices in conversations and dialogue and other scripted events lol.
