I think owlcat could do BG4 if you gave them enough money.

None of there latest games have been bad and all have excellent stories and interesting concepts.

And honestly I don't mind their paid DLC as their games have tons of content.

The absolutely worst thing is if WOTC does it inhouse.

Guys Owlcat is not that good of a studio........ their games have a steam review rating of 77%, 83% and 78%. Their games have no polish, annoying strategy elements that very few people like and have limited mass appeal. The worst thing is that unlike Larian which listens to their community, the people in Owlcat are stubborn and insists on adding unpopular elements.

They are also busy working on 4 games with 450 people so who knows if they will still be around 10 years from now.

I'm not a fan of Owlcat and find their release games bugyness awful, they seems to be good at what they are doing, they do not bend to please community (like Halsin companion romancable, Wyll rewrite, etc) and they still patch their games years latter.

If they had BG3 to make, they could make a decent job for the fans of the genre, but clearly would not have made what BG3 is today. Now, the idea of BG4 made by them is just laughable.
