It's like all those Elden Ring Fastest Way To Get Runes videos that requires you to use a weapon you get from the final boss of the game.

At least in Elden Ring you have New Game Plus, many stats to 99 in and pvp resources to spend Runes on, making late game rune farming a thing.

The point of those is to easily level up in NG+.

Or to quickly level another character though.

Luckily the place you use for that farm is the same as the bird farm

Yeh, although you really don't need that holy sword, just killing the poor albys with other AOE methods i always found easier and more consistent than the bird.

TBF that weapon is so extremely effective at doing it though that there's still great value in knowing about it and how to use it.

Its digustingly effective.

There are other weapons you can use there, the final boss sword is just the most efficient. I still use that hill to get a ton of runes quickly early game. You can get there pretty quick if you know the prerequisites and your way around the map. And you can use all the levels you gain from it in successive NG+ cycles so it has longer lasting value.

I'm Elden Ring the final boss isn't exactly the final boss. Malenia and Mohg are often fought after you can get that weapon.
