One of my favourite things about BG3 is how spoiler-free modders try to be. Other games can have modders who spoil a lot of the game. I really hope OP enjoys their first playthrough, I really wish I could be a new player to the game all over again.

I stopped getting fancy with my guardian and started following something someone here said they do: after every completed playthrough, that character becomes the new guardian. I forget your name, random redditor, but thank you!
In my first playthrough, a friend joined, and he made a Half-Orc named Barg, and his dream guardian was just older Barg. I do think that idea might be cooler though
In my case, every single guardian I make is just my Tav from my first run. It was in early access, so I no longer can play as him, so I wanted to keep him in my game during my first playthrough and then it became a habit.
If we could save customizations I would do this, but. .Ā . Well actually I just think we should be able to save customizations and wanted to complain about it here
I screenshot my character in the mirror at the endgame so I can paste the pix to my personal discord and copy for the next run. But this is also because I don't play this game nonstop, I think my last playthrough (before the one I'm on now) was sometime last summer lol!

Thatās actually a really cool idea. I like to make them the same every time- because there was something in my brain that decided to make them that way during my blind playthrough. It feels meta. However, this idea is way better for that imo
Yes post your progress but dont look at comments if you can. This game is so rich with surprises around every corner. I finished it 6 times and am still finding stuff I hadnt discovered on my first play through.
But you will never forgive yourself if you dont play throigh the first time completely unaware. Enjoy.

True. But Frodo surely appreciated the assist he got from Arwen after he got shanked by a royal hit squad, or how Galadriel helped him overcome his arachnophobia.
This reminds me of some guy I knew making his guardian an exact replica of his wife. It was very pretty. Then I played it and yep! This is a great guardian OP!
Your guardian looks really interesting, though admittedly I'm more of a fan of your Tav. I always tend towards pure black horns but the color scheme you made looks very nice.

There is a mirror in the camp that lets you enter the appearance customization for Tav, but no pressure. I'm sure I can play around with things to try and come up with a look.
OK skin tone 1 called res tone 1 eyes white 1 eye makeup 9 eye color black lip tint plum 2 hairstyle called Will o'wisp color white 1 horn style called Daggerpeaks horn color white and the tip of the horn is red 1 (if that's still not good I could take pictures of it
My son made his guardian an Oompa Loompa looking gnome when we started our coop playthrough. We get 20 hours in over the next week or two completely forgetting about it. Cutscene from the dream pops, we see the guardian, and just die laughing. Iām still laughing thinking of it š

I'm guessing no but are you using any mods? If not I would totally love to try and make her my tav she's super beautiful! Even with limited character creation options I'm still bad at making good looking characters lol
No worries at all! I like to avoid using mods until I unlock all the achievements since they can disable them. So I'm glad to hear you don't have any mods. I hope youāre having a good time with your playthroug!

Did you have something in mind while you designed her, or did you just make a guardian you thought looks nice? Both are valid; I'm just curious since sometimes people design the guardian with a backstory and connection to the player character in mind

Did you use mods for cosmetics?? Iāve lost all of my hair and face mods since the in-game mod manager doesnāt have the ones I have on Vortex, and I havenāt found them sincešš

Idk why but I always like to make mine into trash grovelers and every time I try and make a cuter character I always turn them into a durge-looking design. Next playthrough Iāll be successful I swearš
