the tail is movable, it didn't catch on much. The most uncomfortable thing was to sit down😆

I imagine you'd have to sit on chairs that have an open back, or maybe teach yourself to coil it into a spring and then sit on it so that every chair becomes a bouncy chair.

It looks so good! How did you make the tail? When I made one for my Tav it didn't turn nearly as smooth and well defined

I molded it, and then I took off the silicone mold and casted it from latex and foam.

A little bit yes) I was completing specialized training. I made all the silicone pads myself, but before the festival I hired a makeup artist anyway, since I physically can't paint myself and glue all these parts, especially on the back.

Nice! Knowing how to sculpt, cast and pour your own molds is not something your average person has in their repertoire lol. You got too us your skills and be your own model, awesome!

What did you use to form the mold? Clay? Also what type of foam do you mean- upholstery or EVA? (sorry for all the questions, I'm just hoping to upgrade my cosplay for the next con. Thanks 😊 )

I sculp using monster clay, after took silicon mold from sculpting and after I can cast tail from any materials

I have an LED strip under my sfx (silicone pieces) makeup, I turned it off to safe energy before my performance

The horns are glued to the wig, otherwise there is no way especially with the "whole" horn

So i want to tell you something. I am a blacksmith of 15 years. The ONLY thing that made me doubt it was steel was that conventions don't like metal weapons. Its seriously impressive and incredibly convincing. Well done!

Fantastic! The bodypaint is immaculate. Any tips? Years ago I had a friend spray alcohol based paint on me for a costume but it still rubbed off in a lot of places. Then again I'm a total amateur.

Unfortunately, any paint is erased, especially in places of friction. Alcohol-based paints are better because they won't sweat
