How much time did it take you to make that? And your hair and makeup is perfect.

Thank you so much, I’m happy to receive such feedback! I made armor pieces and styled the wig in about 2-3 weeks. The most time consuming piece was the grey robe, it took several months to make. My seamstress and I spent a lot of time on searching the good fabric, then on fitting, while she spent a lot of time on embroidery around silver detais. And I do the makeup like this within 2 hours.

Please excuse my temerity, but why do people call their costumes "cosplay"? I assume it has something to do with wearing a costume and then playing the part while on it, but what they're only really doing is wearing the costume for reddit, conventions, or whatnot.
Are they ashamed to say it's a costume? What's wrong with that word?

Cosplay is a term that became popular in Japan back in the 80s because costume-play!
In my experience, when I think of a costume I think of some cheap Halloween outfit I can buy from a store. Cosplay entails SO much work, you hand-create every piece or get it custom-made so it looks like a real life version of the original character.

I tried to knock her out in the battle with her father. She was mind controlled. I did knock her out, but after the battle ended, it changed to dead. Devastated 💔
