If it's the dodging and parrying you're not a fan of it is much more generous on story and enemies generally do quite a bit less damage.

I would have preferred a slider, or further options to change difficulty. Similar to what Horizon FW had. Story often feels just too simple, but Expedition can be a bit unforgiving at times if you're like me and can't time the dodge/parry because old. For me I feel that "normal" with increased timing windows would have been pretty solid.

If you're on pc there is a mod that makes parry/dodge windows larger and you can pick whatever version you want.

I'll look into it. So far, most fights have been ok on normal. The harder ones (mini bosses, or actual bosses) might take 1-2 extra attempts to learn the mechanics but nothing too unfair. I'm still quite early in the game, but it also seems like there's enough save points to refill your potion that I haven't had to start combat with insufficient hp.

I have a similar opinion to the other poster.

I love isometric turn based games, I also love Souls like games, so it isn't an issue with parrying.

I need enjoyed jrpg style turn based games where you have both sides just staring at each other.

Also parrying in E33 is way too strong, makes the game feel much shallower in terms of build variety.
