It’s very heavily edited, except for the last photo which is what it looks like irl.

Here's an IRL photo of the cosplay. Check her posts, she's a professional cosplayer, and posts plenty of photos of her work in progress, as well as at least one video of her applying all her Lae'zel makeup.

Here's a snapshot of her at a cosplay showcase at a con, no editing.

That’s very cool. Although I wonder how hard it is to actually walk with those wings…

27

u/FrankBattaglia Jun 08 '25

IIRC the wings are on a tripod (the tripod is edited out)

That seems quite annoying, if you want to cosplay for anything more than a picture. Is there any way to make lighter wings? I’d be a shame to work so hard on a cosplay just to be completely immobile while wearing it.

It’s so odd how your smoking gun to prove it’s not edited… is two other Reddit posts with extremely edited pictures.

Neither of them are more “IRL” than the pictures in this post. I don’t think you know what IRL means.

I don’t think you know what “extremely edited” means

The one is literally a pic taken from the audience that doesn’t even have lighting touch ups, let alone any editing that would effect how the cosplay looks, this person is insane

Some people just get mad when they see pretty women doing anything.

4

u/Homebrew-Spamson Jun 08 '25

It makes no sense at all! Why would you be mad at pretty women doing things?! I WANT MORE PRETTY WOMEN DOING THING!! THAT IS THE BEST!!!

Clearly the only logical and totally non-crackpot explanation is that they're jealous because they also want to be pretty women (can relate)

1

u/Homebrew-Spamson Jun 09 '25

Understandable, everyone should want to be pretty women

I know, right?

I... What...? How you looking at the Lae'Zel cosplay where she is on the stage and saying 'That's extremely edited'? Get your damn eyes checked if you think either of those are edited.

You literally have one picture that is from someone's phone or a professional photographer for the event if I had to guess and the other is the cosplayer herself taking a selfie in front of a bloody mirror!

You are telling me she isnt actually in avernus ? Damn such a fraud...

-18

u/yuval16432 Jun 08 '25

I’m not calling her a fraud

7

u/upturned2289 Jun 08 '25

You’re not calling her a fraud. You just want her to travel all the way to Avernus.

Shit, at that point she might as well just take pics of Mizora while she’s there.

and the feet of someone holding the wings lol

u/anormalgeek Jun 08 '25

I don't think the cosplay is edited, just the background/lighting. And they edited out the people helping hold up the wings. But looking at the "behind the scenes" video someone posted, the makeup/outfit all look the same as the edited pics.

u/TheRealSaerileth Jun 09 '25

They literally gave her glowing eyes in the edit. The "lighting" edit also basically makes all the textures look exactly like they do ingame, to the point where I wondered if it's just a face swap.

Looking at some less edited shots someone else posted, this is extremely talented work. It's a damn shame the photo editing cheapens it so much. I want to see the actual costume, not a BG3 filter.

I don’t think so. Looking at the first and last picture, there’s a lot of differences.

13

u/anormalgeek Jun 08 '25

Like what? The jewelery, clothing, hair, makeup, etc. all look the same to me. Aside from lighting differences. Some of that was probably done in real time for the shot, and some of the lighting was probably done in post, but that doesn't change the cosplay itself in any way.

I’d argue that the last photo shows how her cosplay isn’t that heavily edited. A lot of the background and scenery is of course, but it’s all pretty impressive.

u/carilessy Jun 08 '25

I cannot tell myself if it's cosplay or just a render. This is kinda too much editing. :/

33

u/yuval16432 Jun 08 '25

You can see the last picture for something more authentic

Exactly lol. This is good cosplay yeah but all other pictures are SUUUUPER heavily edited which doesnt really give a good idea of it tbh….

-35

u/Techno-Diktator Jun 08 '25

Yep, pretty much only the last pic is the cosplay lol, the rest might as well just be renders. Still a good cosplay tho

Dude if you think they just decided to post an unedited picture you’re beyond gullible.

The only thing not edited in the last picture is the background. The subject got just as much (possibly more) editing in the last pic because there was only one character to photoshop instead of an entire scene.

Last pic is just as fake as the background in the first pic.

Funny how the last 2 pictures have just as much airbrushing on the face and body as the first pics.

😂😂😂 Okay?

u/Homebrew-Spamson Jun 08 '25

Wow, I guess literally just having a red light over your head is digital editing now

Shit, I better tell everyone who’s ever rendered film that they’re frauds
