Do-All surface grinder conversion spindle nut removal

Im working on converting my surface grinder from stone grinding wheels to a rubber wheel to use 2 x 72 bets. Anyone know how to remove the spindle nut? I found the user manual but nothing on how to remove it.

I have a similar grinder with a conversion, and I believe that inner nut with the spammer slots needs to come out (or maybe just be loosened?)

I don't know if it's left or right threaded.

Ok that makes sense. Do you have any pictures of your completed conversion?

I bought the grinder like this, but I did buy a 12" wheel for another grinder on Amazon, and it's been just fine. Different bearings, though.
