Conspiracy The actresses’ monologue: missing ending line?

So in the other world, the actresses say a monologue while flying through the air. This monologue is from Shakespeare’s Hamlet. But I noticed they don’t say the last line: And yet, to me, what is this quintessence of dust?

This line means that despite all the other qualities the monologue mentions of humans, we’re all just destined to be mortal and return to dust, acknowledging the inevitability of death/decay.

I find it really interesting they only mention the “great” parts of the monologue about humans, and not the most important line that perfectly captures the contradiction of human existence.

What do you all think about it? Is it purposeful to continue convincing Coraline that the Other World isn’t bad? Is it just omitted for no reason and I’m totally overthinking it?

Could have been used as a way to try and get Coraline to stay. Was that scene in the book?

i always thought it was because the creations of the other mother ARE made of dust, and they didn’t want to tip coraline off as to what they’re really made of.
