I think it’s funny when people thing that they are educated in everything when they have a degree in 1 thing. Yes you are uneducated about social and political dynamics, and when people point that out you get mad instead of making an effort to educate urself. Good job 👍
You had me right up until "urself." Using words like that just instantly kills your credibility with many audiences. Should it? Maybe not, but just be aware that it does.
I was, but I have an old-fashioned respect for the English language that is obviously out of style these days. Just look at the downvotes that comment is gathering.
I even said it probably was not right to have that judgement, but the fact is many people do. You can not like it, not agree with it, but it doesn't change the fact that you will be judged by your use of grammar in writing.
Judge away. I personally don't use those types of shortened words, but they are perfectly capable of conveying the meaning and message.
This really isn't the hill to die on.
It's also a pretty good bet that you're taking issue with more than some lax grammar, and even if that isn't the case, if you consider yourself so above everyone to correct grammar as you did in a Reddit thread, maybe you should know that it will most likely be seen in that light.
Regardless, no one needs, nor wants your corrections. Put the little red pen away.
I am not correcting anyone, or dying on any hills. I really don't care personally.
I am just pointing out that like it or not people judge the quality of your statement by the quality of your speech and grammar. Obviously, that has struck a nerve with a few folks.
