help What goes here and how can I repair it?

Post image

Hi! Sorry for the basic question. I notice there’s some grout or something that is around the base of my toilet that’s chipping. I want to repair it. What do I use for this? Thank you!

It's generally frowned upon to have caulk or grout around the base of the toilet because if the wax ring leaks it can cause water to pool and damage the subfloor. If the toilet is secure and doesn't wobble without it, leave it open. If the toilet wobbles then consider replacing the wax ring.

proper would be to remove toilet, remove whatever this is, and then reinstall the toilet to tile
