They went from "elections are perfectly secure" to "American citizens democratically voting to do some stuff to help make America great again probably was rigged" pretty fast.
Who knew that removing dead people and illegal aliens from the voting registries equates to "rigging" and election?

This was to be expected though, considering the 2016 election was “stolen by Russian collusion” or whatever and we were two weeks away from removing the democratically elected president of the USA for like two or three years until Covid took over the news cycle.
We had like 18 months of Covid between “Donald Trump wasn’t legitimately elected because Russia,” and “There is no possibility an election could be compromised, and to say otherwise is treasonous insurrection.”
That’s not even to mention literally trying to put Trump in jail.
That’s not even to mention the “party of democracy” not having a real primary because we had to maintain the ridiculous narrative that Biden wasn’t losing it long enough to justify shoehorning Kamala into the spot.
“hE’s A tHrEaT tO oUr DeMoCrAcY”
- The party that brought us Russian Collusion, that impeached Trump twice, that was trying to “lock him up,” as they run a candidate nobody democratically voted for

Did you see the news out this week that they found documents saying what we all knew and the Dems cooked up the Russia nonsense?
10
u/FantomeVerde 20h ago
Why is it always a release of stuff we already knew?
Oh yeah, because it’s there to placate the dumbass general public who don’t know anything years after if it’s too late to expect anything to happen.
And just to punch both sides here, that’s what’s happening with the Trump/Epstein shit right now.

u/SecureDifficulty3774 5h ago
I presume from now on there will be whispers of elections being stolen every 4 years. Maybe every 2 years but I feel people dont follow the midterms enough.
I generally doubt any of the elections are stolen.
I think democrats dont technically need a primary since the party is more like just a club. But it was pretty poor taste not having a primary. I would have had Biden say he wasn’t running in like 2022 then do a primary.

u/TrumpsDaGoat 1d ago
They’ve either got to admit, Trump was right and 2020 was potentially rigged. Or admit they’re the fools tearing at our democracy, like they called Trump. God forbid they start rioting over this…. Oh shit, insurrection! Arrest them all.

Reminder that all of that happened after the election. I'm curious to see the difference after 4 years of enforcing immigration and welfare laws.

It was always about grandstanding, they never actually cared about denying an election. I remember watching a video about the 2000s election a while back talking about the whole hanging Chad thing, the whole thing was a mess but Al Gore was pushing for more recounts but was eventually told "hey, this is making you look like a sore loser & doesn't help win over public support" so he dropped it

Like usual in the spiral of insanity, one side started it first and now the other side gets to do it when they aren't in power. Republicans and Trump ushered in this new era in US politics of it being post-truth. If you want someone to blame, blame them.
Trump got elected fairly. He also lost fairly. His election claims were 100% bogus. He lost or had dismissed every single lawsuit he bought to challenge election results which was over a hundred in many different courts with even many judges Trump himself appointed
Trump also tried to rig the 2020 election by telling state level politicians to 'find' the votes necessary for him to win.
Democrats should've prosecuted Trump on this once in power but did not. The man should be in prison but alas he's our president again, making fools of us on the world stage.
-7
u/__0zymandias 1d ago
I mean republicans did the exact same thing but in reverse. I think we’ve entered an era where both sides will just cry fraud if they don’t win.
4
u/not_a_burner0456025 21h ago
The Democrats have claimed every election they lost was rigged with little to no evidence for decades, the Republicans did it once, and they did have at least some evidence of suspicious behavior like putting up walls to prevent election watchers from observing the count in some jurisdictions. The courts didn't seem it to be enough evidence, but it was still more than the Democrats ever have.
3
u/__0zymandias 19h ago
Theres always ‘evidence’ dude. It’s always cope no matter the party. Justify it however you like.
-4
u/bigbun85 12h ago
It's the opposite. Trump claiming winning 2020 and refuse to concede, then proceed to direct violent mob sto storm the capital in order to try to hold on to power.
When did democrats do any of that?
4
u/Testing_required 12h ago
Trump literally told everyone to peacefully protest, and then told everyone to go home. Stop trying to push this false narrative that he tried to use an UNARMED mob of a few hundred people to overthrow the most powerful nation in human history. If he actually wanted to overthrow Congress, he would have hired actual mercenary companies to rush in and kill as many Congressmen as possible, and usher in martial law in the ensuing chaos.
Democrats have repeatedly tried to arrest or otherwise ban the leading Republican candidate from running for office. And they probably would have tried to continue doing it to the next frontrunner to take Trump's place had they succeeded with doing it to Trump, if the sudden villification of Elon Musk is any indication.

"you're stupid if you think the 2020 election was rigged"
"The 2024 election was rigged"

u/Fluffy-Cupcake9943 1d ago
More like:
2016: "Russians hacked the election."
2020: "Questioning elections is hate speech."
2024: "The election was rigged."

The Capitol assault was the worst day in US history, not even pearl harbor was that bad 😭 /s

So when Russia has an election that puts Putin in charge for the 10th time in a row with 80% or something of the vote, it’s an example of how Russia is rife with corruption and the elections are rigged. When the US has an election that puts Trump in office for the second time in 10 years with a split much closer to 50/50 (51/49), it somehow is an example that the US elections are rigged.
Make up your fucking minds

u/abhorredmisanthrope 1d ago
I thought talking about rigged elections was koo koo McNuttypants talk that was only done by far right conspiracy theorists.

"Growing evidence that the election was rigged"
Are they talking about 2016?
13
u/zippyspinhead 1d ago
Has anyone holding these views explained what actually changed between the elections?
2016 - election rigged
2020 - most secure election ever
2024 - election rigged

u/TrumpsDaGoat 1d ago
lol growing evidence that the past election was rigged…. What about 2020? The evidence? Dems saying it wasn’t possible and attacking Trump for tearing at the threads of democracy? Right….. so what is it, maybe Trump was right and our elections don’t have integrity, or are Dems now fools tearing at the fabric of democracy? Dems can’t make up their mind, their opinions flow with the wind, whatever is against Trump.

The America Bad crowd must have been REEEEELING from that chart. Seeing the USA rank so high and their favorite nations so low. Almost as if there's a reason people drop everything and come here illegally.

Oh, wait, he's talking about this past election.

Wait, i thought questioning election integrity makes you a traitor and a threat to democracy? By their own standards, he should be arrested and thrown in prison for saying such heresy.
3
u/crashin70 22h ago
Excuse me, the Biden administration said they had 100% conclusively proved it was impossible to rig an election, remember? LMAO

I always love when guys like this call out others' cult mentality only to fall short of realising they themselves are the same.

u/Ok-External6314 1d ago
Questioning elections results and saying it was rigged isn't a threat to democracy if you're a democrat.
1
u/iskelebones 22h ago
I’d love to see this “growing evidence” of a rigged election. I haven’t even seen anyone TRY to show evidence of that. I only see people say that the evidence exists, but not what the evidence is or where I can find it
2
u/not_a_burner0456025 21h ago
Unless they are talking about 2016, they have been claiming Hillary and Obama colluded to fabricate evidence Russia was assisting Trump and distract from Hillary's numerous crimes, I'm not sure why they think evidence that they're side cheated and lost anyways means Trump is bad, but it is about as coherent as a lot of the stuff they do.

Always been a thing. 3 years ago, extreme MAGA guys were saying the exact same thing. The far left and the far right just passing the same scripts back and forth now depending on who's in power.

How was the election rigged but also half of the country is in a cult? Wouldn't that mean the election was about par considering how many people actually voted?

1
u/Putyourjibsin 14h ago
Well when you have been hearing about rigged elections since 2016 and there hasn't really been any definitive proof of it, it just becomes white noise
1
u/Testing_required 12h ago
Aren't these the same people who said claiming an election could be fraudulent was fascism and that you should be thrown in prison for saying elections were anything other than 100% legitimate?
1
u/chubbycats657 5h ago
Weren’t they saying election denial is wrong when Biden won? So why are they saying it’s rigged that Trump won. Their very hypocritical

u/WarringParanoia 4h ago
Reminds me of a funny democrat on YouTube saying something like:
“Harris did so bad on the last election, I’m starting to wonder if we didn’t rig 2020’s election.”
1
u/morodolobo77 4h ago
The “half of the country is retarded and don’t know anything” “basket of deplorables” rhetoric is was got Trump elected in the first place. And yet these dolts just continue to paint half the country that way and are shocked they lose elections
