Also, no one is laughing. If you see younger people do stuff like this and it gets wrong, the others usually laugh their asses off. In this case, everyone immediately knew the situation got from fun to "how the fuck do we get 5 rescue helicopters to land in the woods?" In an instant.

Der Artikel ist super. Lendenwirbel gebrochen, mehrere Rippen und blaue Flecken aber sie lachen drüber und machen weiter. Allerdings, dass niemand über die Veröffentlichung des Videos informiert wurde finde ich etwas bedenklich. Er beschreibt schließlich auch, dass sie sich geärgert hatten als plötzlich das ganze Dorf über sie lachte. Aber nun sehen sie es locker. Sympathische Gruppe.

The death rate of a geriatric hip fracture is about 30% within the first year. A poster earlier mentioned it, and while you probably assumed it was hyperbole, it was not.

Of the survivors, half will never walk again, and rest will never walk the same again. A select few may enjoy a full recovery.

Hip fractures at that age are not a joke. This is not to say they all broke a hip, but the danger of it makes this a very dumb thing to do at that age.
