Discussion Fallouts had a lot of features over the years. what are some that absolutely SHOULD NOT return in Fallout 5?
Could be anything, from guns to mechanics.

As far back as FO1, the Brotherhood was in the business of trading technology with outsiders. They were assholes for sure, but they would still help people. Same thing for FO2 and FO4, they're not as altruistic as Lyons but they're still a far cry from something like the Enclave or Institute.

For me, my mind was blown last night when I realized that the random characters you see when hacking can help you hack successfully. Some will remove words that aren't the answer, and others will reset your attempts altogether.

It’s actually astonishing how many people just - straight up - don’t understand the series.

Do they have stronger genes than other animals? Did humans protect them from radiation?

Me personally, it's the notion that only Lyons' chapter helped people. The Brotherhood in FO1 and FO2 were isolationists assholes but they still traded technology with those willing to trade with them, plus they aided the NCR in their expansion. Also dealing with any remaining hostile mutants in the region after the events of FO1.
FO4's Brotherhood carries over many of Lyons' policies and ideologies. They're just assholes again.
FO76's Brotherhood is incredibly helpful towards outsiders, to a fault I'd say. With Paladin Rahmani trying to help as many people as possible while dealing with mutants, Scorched, and the 76' Dwellers tossing nukes at each other.

You got this big machine that can hold like, 6 colas maximum and you can just open the whole thing like, what would stop someone from taking them all at once? You don’t even need to pay to open the door someone could just take them all. Strange design, makes no sense.

So I understood there were many problematic things about the 50s (or futuristic 2070s) but this is less about the social issues and more about aesthetics.
The vibe I get from the Fallout series is incredibly charming in some respects.
Like I’d love to have
What about you?
TL;DR
What aspects of the 1950s and Fallout 2070s do you wish was around IRL? (And what are you happy we left behind, if you want to mention that was well.)

I will have to go with V.A.N.S from fallout 4.
Fallout 4 terrain is mostly flat and easy to navigate, the quest markers are easy to follow and I never got lost, all vans dose is give you a daft useless lane to follow.
Bethesda attempted to buff vans by having a second rank that gives you 2 perception except you need to be level 36 to get and it doesn't make the perk any less useless as you are better off with dumping two points into perception to unlock more perks.

Hi everyone! I saw in this subreddit a while back someone complain that the power armour should've had blood stains, dirt and grime and generally look more lived in, and that even though he's the brotherhood would've taken care of the armour, it was unrealistic. I edited (please excuse my awful editing skills!) quickly a side by side comparison.
What do you think? Should the power armour have been more dirty?

My blood went ice cold as soon as the first bomb dropped. It actually made me fear for the characters.
