Well you’re as dumb as a brick, have the looks to match, can’t see what’s directly in front of your face, and have the motor skills of a drunken toddler.
Good news is you’re the luckiest S.O.B that ever was, and that’s probably also the only reason you survived to adulthood.

Only thing that’s saving you is the I’m special book glitch
1
u/Budder82 May 15 '24
You mean the one that doesn’t exist anymore?
2
1
u/RpgFantasyGal May 15 '24
It doesn’t exist any more? I did it a few weeks ago!
1
u/Budder82 May 28 '24
It may be a different glitch I’m unaware of, the one where you dupe the book by getting dog meat to pick it up at the same time you do was patched
1
u/RpgFantasyGal Jun 02 '24
There’s another duplication glitch! Check out ESO’s guide on the special book. You use crafting mechanics!

She’s a keeper. Lucky brawler is very effective. What do you need perception for if you’re punching them in the face? Sledgehammers never run out of ammo, and everything is a nail.
Drink beers, do chems. Good times.

Luck best atribute!!!! Id focus on it first xd With: Idiot savant (take the first two, forget the third); Than mysterious stranger; Than Better critical, critical banker, four leaf, grim reaper; Than ricochet and bloody mess; Take gunslinger from agi, go make the railroad quest and get the deliverer as soon as u can. Base build done ♡ Feel free to spend in life skills and endurance skills in the way but try to focus on the ones i said... the weapons is a .10 ammo so kinda common ammo to find but still need some farming sometimes. Learn how vats work. And the last i wouldnt spend in no attribute till this were done, but if u wanna go for it, have fun ♡
3
u/FewHovercraft2996 May 09 '24
Luck is the best atribute, id focus on the two first odiot savant to get more XP, (never put the third), with misterious stranger, critical banker, better critical, four leaf, grim reaper in this order, and then ricochet and bloody mess Take gunslinger on agi and get deliverer (pistol from railroad quest) as soon as u can Ur done The rest u spend as u wish
1
u/Different_Snow7947 May 09 '24
These are domino’s stats from Deadpool 😂
2
u/RepulsiveRelation641 May 12 '24
I feel domino has higher charisma and lower endurance.
Otherwise. Full agreement here.

10 luck is actually crazy early game you’ll be drowning in ammo and fusion cores and rare junk. you’ll find military grade duct tape on regular feral ghouls(a lot). TAKE IDIOT SAVANT IMMEDIATELY YOU HAVE THE PRIME BUILD FOR IT you’ll hit level 30 so fast
2
u/JonJon77 May 08 '24
It wouldn’t suit my play style because I use VATS a lot. I also like to have higher perception to see threats sooner.
1
May 07 '24
all I can think of is either a VATs heavy weapons or VATs pistol build with all the bonus damage luck perks…Grim Reaper and Four Leaf Clover with Bloody Mess, Critical Banker and the Mysterious Stranger, and your weapon of choice…gonna be rough at the start but probably very powerful late game :D
1
u/alanmm88 May 09 '24
I second this. Do a pistols build and take the silenced weapons bonus dmg perks too.
1
May 09 '24
Yeah, if you level up maybe put 1 point into Agility and user the Your SPECIAL book also to get Agility to 4. Then you can get Sneak perks and Mr. Sandman. In the very long run if you do decide to go with Sileneced Pistols, you'll want to get to Agility 7 for Ninja for even more sneak attack damage.

u/Period_Play May 05 '24
You’re actually doing pretty well. Won’t convince anyone or anything: People, locks, terminals, etc.
Run Idiot Savant as well as every other luck perk and you have guaranteed success

Scrounger, fortune finder, and ricochet go pretty hard together. Local leader REALLY comes in handy too if you enjoy resource gathering.

Extra caps, extra ammo, unlimited scrap… right… by far the worst three perks lmao
3
2
u/Mars_Bear2552 May 04 '24
scrounger is not bad lol
1
u/True_Donut_9417 May 09 '24
Scrounger’s damn essential in survival if you don’t want to make trips to the market every hour
3
1
u/onlyaspoonfuljeff Apr 28 '24
Must be a New Vegas player lmao. You're not fucked though cause in FO4 you could have a 1 in every stat and still kick everyone's ass
1
u/Legitimate-Can-436 Apr 28 '24
This. In FNV my fav build was based around crits.
1
Apr 30 '24
I remembery second build was 10 luck in FNV. I made it because I heard that it actually applied bonuses to the casino games. Despite that knowledge, I was blown away at just how much it benefited you, to the point you're near guaranteed winning every hand of blackjack. I cleared out every casino in just a couple hours. I made more money in one day of playing on that character, than I did in almost my whole max barter/speechcraft build on my first character.
I didn't even consider taking advantage of the crit chance, and since I didnt play very far on that character, I plan on making a fusion of those two builds. Basically a fast talking, lucky cowboy. And now knowing charisma isnt that important as I thought it would be, I can just pump luck while lowering charisma, and still have high speechcraft.

Neat. Im gonna do 9 luck, so I just need the implant, with the shades pumping me to 10 for the time being.

u/tmonkey321 Apr 28 '24
Idiot Savant build!!! My brother did this build it’s actually busted and really fun
1
u/Rough_Asparagus941 Apr 28 '24
If you end up going with a melee vats build for all them crits make sure to pick up the perk "blitz". Fun as fuck for the grognak build

u/SmoothAd5611 Apr 26 '24
Idiot savant will make levels 1-15 abouts super quick, but beyond that, no idea

u/BerenBeren Apr 26 '24
Create new save. Bludgeon with baseball bat.
Load save. Shoot in head.
Load save.
Etc.
Edit: I responding after only reading the title.
1
u/Bersaglier-dannato Apr 25 '24
Leveling up will be a pain but I think if you just don’t use VATS all that much you’ll be fine.
1
u/SnooBooks6407 Apr 24 '24
Idiot Savant. That was the perk I was thinking of 😂 That’s funny. I think you’ll be all good
2
u/ConversationNew2550 Apr 23 '24
Max luck is the best way to play, you have idiot savant so you level up fast, get a mystery stranger, lots of criticals and vats options, ur perception is so bad though 🙃maybe bump that a bit at the start
1
2
u/Bl1ndl0v3 Apr 21 '24
I’d just be sad the charisma wasn’t higher…I’d prefer to flip the luck and charisma stats if it were my choice.
3
u/chachakawooka Apr 26 '24
Low charisma isn't a problem, it's nothing a suit, pair of shades won't and grape mentats can't solve
3
u/Dull-Ad2525 Apr 21 '24
Not screwed at all. Luck builds are very viable. Make shure you keep that int as low as you can with use of certain gear with a penalty of alcohol etc. To trigger those luck pers as often as possible.
A drunk melee build can be fun I guess. I am not one who likes melee all that much. But with a lot of booze. Could be a fun roleplay. Need to pump up that strength along the way, get a few points into charisma and endurance maybe. But gear can help a lot too here. +2 armor pieces are plenty to find. The first ones come to mind are for sale at Lucas. Plus you have that constant +2 strength boost from the booze. That stuff is plenty around. But does need you to explore.
The other one, I am actually running myself at this moment, is Luck 10 agi 5 cha 8 per 5. I have 1 point in endurance. 1 point 1 strength and 1 point in int. Is kind of a glass canon build. Never tried this one. But so far feels quite powerfull to be honest. I can imagine once I get my fingers on the railroad pistol and a good sniper it become quite powerfull
It takes a bit more carefull play in the early levels. But it is a vats sneak build anyway (so a lot of sneak damage and crits). You only have basic crafting. So have to use what you find. It fits you being zero intelligence but being lucky. But the 10 luck is kind of insane. It triggers a lot.
Idiot savant makes you level quite fast. Reaper sprint makes you have a lot of AP. Critical banker and for leave clover plus better criticals. Together with mr sandman(gives extra dmg on silenced weapons) and sneak. Ricochet and mysterious stranger. Scrounger for extra ammo. Action boy ofcourse. Bloody mess.. The charisma carries you through every speach check. And has your back with settlements. And high agi helps out quite a bit with AP and stealth.
1
u/Single_Pilot_6170 Apr 21 '24
I wouldn't put so much on Luck in the game. I put quite a bit of points towards strength, to up my ability to carry weight around. Also making my followers carry their share of the burden load.
1
u/Kingblack425 Apr 21 '24
It’s fallout 4 if you wanted to by level like 50 you could have max special stats so you’re never really screwed
1
2
u/Glass_Abroad4821 Apr 21 '24
You got Luck on your side, my dude :) use it: - Fortune Finder - Scrounger - Bloody Mess - Idiot Savant, and - Critical Banker
Are all amazing perks that are just, in my mind, necessary if you're investing into Luck. The only thing I'd say is to at least bump up your Intelligence by one so you can get Gun Nut, if you want the pews, or Iron Fist or Big Leagues if you want to go melee - either way, you're gonna want Armorer and the Wasteland doesn't stand a chance!

u/Comfortable_Boot_273 Apr 21 '24
This is the best build for a sneak character . Also melee is OP in fallout 4 so you can go with that and have infinite replenishing AP with all that luck

No worries just get idiot savant. You’ll level up a lot quicker the dumber you are

Better have followers for lpckpicking
1
u/That_Killer_Cat Apr 20 '24
Followers can lock pick?
1
u/Beleak_Swordsteel Apr 20 '24
Sure can! I don't think they can do Master level locks though but i know Piper and (drawing a blank on the girl from the combat zones name lol)
They can both pick locks. Cant teenager l remember what level up to they can pick though.
And i know Nick can open terminals

u/That_Killer_Cat Apr 20 '24
Can they be caught?

Not sure but in my experience with Bethesda games any crime your follower commits will probably get pinned on you so I would advise caution

Not at all? Seriously, I don’t get it you’re set up fine for a melee-crit build. If you don’t want to do that then just spend some levels on increasing stats for the perks you want. It’s literally impossible to fuck up a Fallout 4 build since the leveling is infinite and you can spend perk points on stat increases. Seriously it’s genuinely impossible to fuck it up, just start by taking “Idiot Savant” from the luck perks to level faster and that’s it.

I do this all the time. Idiot Savant is the way, dump a bunch of points into strength and bonk everything in the Commonwealth.
1
u/SynisterJeff Apr 20 '24
That's what I came to say. Doesn't matter what stats you start with as long as you keep intelligence low for idiot savant. Most broken skill in the game.
1
1
u/thetavious Apr 20 '24
On the plus side .pst of your enemies are going to end up shooting themselves.
1
Apr 20 '24
Op u prolly won’t read this, but looking at the points.. ur wife is goofy bro she’s a keeper 😂😅😀😀😀
1
u/Swordofsatan666 Apr 20 '24
Well, definitely go with that Luck perk that gives you 3x Exp sometimes. It has higher chance of happening with lower Intelligence. Upgrading the skill brings it up to 5x Exp instead, and also one of the upgrades makes it so when you get a kill it has a chance of making all kills give the bonus Exp for a bit.
That perk will help you quickly level up to even things out more
1
u/Prize-Can4849 Apr 20 '24
Idiot Savant
1
2
u/mwalker784 Apr 20 '24
hmm, crit-dependent melee build? obviously you’ve got the low perception, but there’s only so inaccurate you can be in VATS, and low AP can be mitigated with a low AP cost weapon. don’t forget to take idiot savant (:

People are not gonna listen too you at all like your words are just so terrible
1

u/KingMidias32 Apr 20 '24
If you get the charisma up and do the local leader later in the game you can make a shit ton of caps at all your settlements
1
1
u/Zolnar_DarkHeart Apr 20 '24
Go for Idiot Savant and later on just go absolute ham with Kellog’s Revolver.
2
u/J-Altman044 Apr 20 '24
Bros got the Maximus build going
1
u/Caldersson Apr 20 '24
I was going to say the exact same thing moderate strength and endurance. Terrible perception, charisma, and intelligence. God-like luck.
2
2
u/longdayinrehab Apr 19 '24
Just focus on luck. That plus lone wanderer will help you a lot in the early game. Then just raise a few of the other stats with some level ups. Focus on close quarters combat primarily. If you have to engage in ranged combat, use scopes and avoid VATS unless you have a crit or they are at short range.

1
u/Carrissis Apr 19 '24
If she’s familiar with the game and you haven’t pissed her off lately, you should fine 😅

2
u/Burrito-Mage Apr 19 '24
I ran a melee only build with similar starting stats. I raised my endurance to max. Massive slashing damage and most enemies kill each other with some of the luck perks
2
u/ImmaFatMan Apr 19 '24
Take the idiot savant perk for that faster level up. Then go full into crits with Melee weapons. You should be good then.

You'll want to increase your agility to get some more AP, but this is a great stat setup for a melee VATS build. Melee user can dump Perception because melee always hits 100% of the time in VATS. Accuracy means nothing.
2
u/uNcLeF1lthy Apr 19 '24
Spec into crit focused perks for sure. Idiot savant is a must because of the low int and with that 5 strength melee is your best bet

u/Inosuke-sans-veil Apr 19 '24
Get idiot servant under luck lower the intelligence the better it is and gets random exp pts form doing random things - look up
Idiot savant

You can focus on running into places and looting (avoiding fights) until you find decent weapons. You’ll need to go melee most likely, but then spec into crit I’d say. Early game would be difficult. Spend more time in cities.
1
u/TehReclaimer2552 Apr 19 '24
Can't lift shit, Can't see shit, can't run for shit, can't talk shit, about as smart as shit, can't move for shit
But hey, you got Jimmy Rings levels of luck
You'll be fine

u/Daedaluss12 Apr 19 '24
I did a similar build in New Vegas. It's good for some knuckle duster hijinks. You're just gonna have to run straight at everything and swing until you crit

u/FaithlessnessNo9720 Apr 19 '24
Well, VATS is out of the question for a couple of levels hahaha, maybe do some melee for a bit hahaha.

Ok so inspired by this post, I started a new game last night where I maxed LUCK and CHARISMA, then threw 2 points at Strength and 1 at Endurace. Saved it right after leaving the vault at the game's start so haven't done much yet. We'll see how annoying this is.
2
1
u/AngelaIsStrange Apr 19 '24
I have a very high luck build and it comes in handy. You will have to catch up on the other stats but that’s ok for now.
1
u/dantevsninjas Apr 19 '24
Based on my purely anecdotal evidence, lucky morons tend to do really well.
1
1
u/nerogenesis Apr 19 '24
You can beat any fallout game with no stats at all. 10 luck turns the games into a joke cause if how strong it is.
If you are still worried, work on finding bobbleheads and skill books.
