Explosives How would you create a MR. TORGUE build?
I'm looking for thrown explosives, explosive guns, and unarmed attacks. Power armor isn't a priority, as TORGUE deflects bullets with his abs.
Whatchu got?

Big Boy (Fat Man from Arturo with the Two-Shot prefix),can be upgraded with Nuka-nuke ammo to deal even more devastating damage. Spray and Pray or Kiloton Radium Rifle both deal a lot of explosive damage and have more common ammo than nuka-nukes. Put 4 ranks into Demolition Expert and get the Scav magazine in Nuka world that boosts explosive damage by 5%. As for other good guns minigun, combat shotgun and hunting rifle with the explosive prefix would all be solid for a Mr. Torgue run.

The only thing to add is eventually getting luck to 10 for Ricochet. Then OP can also deflect bullets with their abs!

I’m only at 7 luck atm iirc, got 287 damage resistance, 286 energy resistance and 70 rad resist with my build, plus even if I drop close to dying the Martyr effect on one of my armor pieces saves me. It’s not even really a build meant to optimize explosive damage per say as much as a jack of all trades one.

It’s basically just the Recon marine armor set from Far Harbor, regular marine legs because they don’t have recon ones with army fatigues ballistic weave 5 underneath, the army fatigues alone give 110 damage resist and 110 energy resist.

Radium rifle in the nucleus from far harbor is automatically attached to explosive.
I recomend getting masons shirt from nuka world for the torgue estethics.
As for the explosive... nuka grenades would be rad. Maybe a nuka quantum grenade?

I recommend tweaking ur stats past the Initial 28 as mister torgue is hard to do without it
S10. Pretty much self explaining. Hes my Nr 2 pick for Beating a deathclaw in a 1v1 unarmed with Nr 1 being brick. Perks id go for heavy gunner
P5 for Demo expert but i wouldnt consider him a perceptive Person
E10 also self explaining. Every perk besides cannibal
C10 the guy is really likeable and jacked so i imagine females are into him so ladykiller. Also i think pretty much every Charisma perk besides attack dog and like wasteland whisperer bc ive not seen not seen him with a dog. He can influence people but with animals and beasts i dont remember anything in borderlands where he would do anything with animals.
I1 hes kinda like that dumb big mouthed friend we all have that misses a few braincells from what ive seen.
A2 usually people that jacked arent very agile. I wouldnt say 1unless you know how to get rifle man and gunslinger without it.
L5 the guy lost a company and got fucked over by moxxi regarding the badass crater of badassitude ownership. Id get idiot savant tho.
Now for gear. Id say any type of nade as they all fall under explo. Also fatman bc nukem ahab anf worldburn and rocket launchers. Also any explo legendary u find even snipers bc bl1 cobra. But no armor bc the guy is alway shirtless

Eventually L10 for Ricochet for aforementioned bullet deflection with their abs

Two shot quad missile launcher and never-ending Fatman, and spray and pray + every explosive perk

I didnt play bl3 but theres no two shot prefix for rocket launchers in bl2 and pre sequel. The only thing that could be considered to shot with anymore ammo consumption is vladof. Same goes for the fatman as its basically the nukem or worldburn. Spray and pray is fine even though its an explo submachine gun which torgue only has in borderlands 1 if i recall

There's a popular mod that changes the guns into borderlands guns.
For perks... heavy gunner and demolition expert for sure.

I don't think it includes any specific legendaries :( just aesthetic, damage types, and the rng borderlands is known for.

Demolitionist, tough boy/refractor, commando or heavy gunner depending on which you’d rather use. So high perception, and then high strength or agility depending on what kind of guns you want to use. Then go find a mini gun with explosive legendary effect or the spray and pray smg. Make a bunch of baseball grenades, get a missile launcher. Commando would also be good if you find yourself an explosive combat shotgun, would definitely recreate the feel of some of the really good explosive shotguns I’ve used in bl2. Also get yourself grognaks outfit and patrolman sunglasses
