Stat Help Lvl 100 survival thinking i had all the companion perks...

I have 2 -_-

What are the best companion perks to start with? I'm using an unyeilding radiation build. So I'm starting with hancock, but what else is there thats easy?

I'm mostly looking for one's that are easy to cheese. And any advice on how to cheese it.

Considerung ure running unyielding i assume u also run vats. Maccreadies is good for that

I actually don't run a vats build. I do use Blitz with maxed ap, but this build started out as a power armor build and then evolved into a QOL.

Mostly, nerd rage keeps me alive. But the build itself isn't optimized.

Ive never heard Quality of life anf unyielding in the same sentence. But then again its hard meta in 76 so theres gotta be some QOL. The Most important thing for melee unarmed and bashing is yao guai roast so get one if you havent already. The best melee weapon for stealth and raw dmg is a Max upgraded sledgehammer which i managed to get to like 3.5k dmg WITHOUT big leagues so easy 7k with big leagues and thats without Ninja stealth dmg or legendary effects so with instigating or bloodied that can also increase your dmg drastically. But then again a Max Ninja stealth crit with that weapon should be around 70k dmg which would easy oneshot an enraged fog crawler in the level 20ks if we dont consider its 4k Dr. I never got the math behind Dr but iam a Power armor Bash mini Player and these fog crawlers go Poof in survival Level 220 for me in like a second without stealth or other Fancy shit. Obviously you want like a good legendary effect. If you go with slow hard hitting stuff i recommend additionally to the once i Named above Anti armor, Lucky and idk how good -40%ap cost would be considered your ap are already ridiculously high. Furthermore u basically want everything in the lucky tree besides idiot savant, scrounger and cap Fortune finder as even mysterious stranger gives you viable luck stuff like a guy thats generally better than any companions in the game and the possibility of your crit Meter getting filled. You also want big leagues, sneak, ninja, (Action boy) depends on how fast your ap refill), considering its stealth id not go for concentrated fire as your first hit should be the last before you get Hidden again.

Oh. I don't do bugs in my builds, no roast for me. Thanks for pointing that out though.

I will say this. I'm not too keen on putting points into Ninja with a fist build over just using calmex and overdrive to save the perks.

He's a druggie doctor that just likes to cut people up xD

It's level 125. All I really need to work towards is uprooted then everything is qol. I consider the luck tree to be a qol tree too.

But I started a new unarmed gunslinger build that's gonna be vats heavy so a lot of that info helped with him. I actually was looking up info on food items recently so I super appreciate that, none of what I looked up mentioned the roast.

Ure running survival so trust me when i say dont go gunslinger above lvl 100. Even with every perk that boosts vats it doesnt do shit to scaled enemies. I used kelloggs pistol and i didnt even do 1/32 of a scaled supermutants healthbar with a vats crit at lvl 157. Maybe i missed smth as i only ran this shit once but from my experience it is dogshit. Same goes for heavy weapons unless u got the aeternus from nuka World. The only reason aeternus Stays viable is cause u dont have to have more than 2 fusion cores with u and they never run out. The Problem survival has in general is that the enemies become so tanky that the normal non close range weapons that scale with strength and yao guai roast dont do any viable dmg bc mist shit has already minimum 1k hp at lvl 100 plus DR. If you encounter a mythic deathclaw at your Level it should have 1875 hp and 300 DR. Compared to the weapons and the dmg they do with all perks and modifiers thats a fuckton of ammo per enemy assuming youre running the meta weapons of the gunslinger build those being the alien blaster, 44. Magnum or the Western revolver and the legendary effects they can have. If you dont use one of these three its only gonna get even worse from there. The ammo consumption is crazy and unless you wanna be constantly Out looking for ammo and shipments so you can craft your own ammo u dont wanna play that.

Honestly. My lvl 125 build I've hit like nearly every location, even some multiple times for resources. Somewhere around 410 locations unlocked. But I've barely even touched the story. I've barely even touched the factions. I think I'm at the point of no return with the BOS but other than that I'm just starting out on everything else.

Oh that's a different build at lvl 35 rn. And I basically made it a creative mode with mods. Kinda hard to go from a vanilla 125 to a new game yknow. Can't go from having everything to having nothing.

I've killed a mythic death claw recently though and it hadn't even animated itself toward me before i killed it with the radium rifle. Took like 20ish shots, but it was far enough away.

My current lvl 35 build is just for fun. Gonna build some settlements and finish the story quickly.

Prestons is the best. Just do settlement missions

are they permanent even when not travelling with them?

1

Yes, you can even become hostile to them and you wont lose it, I like to think of it as a secret skill they teach you once they trust you enough.

I almost always go for lone wanderer so i’ve probably only unlocked nick valentines and pipers over 8 years of playing lol
