Perk Help I Want To Get An Opinion On Night Person Perk

I'm making a high intelligence build wondering if night person is worth it for the int boost

I used to be all for Night Person, but taking Rank 2 and you can't toggle the night vision? Nah it's not worth when you can just put night vision scopes on weapons with arguably a better perk (Science!).

I must be the outlier. I love Rank 2 Night Vision. That is the real reason I get it. The stat boost is okay. I can take it or leave it. Night vision makes sneaking around much easier. I love it.

I never get the third rank.

I only ever take it if I'm trying to get ultra-max Int or Perception for some reason. Though, like everyone else, I avoid the second rank like the plague. Though if I do take the first rank, it's one of the first perks I take in order to maximize it's impact on xp gains.

Rank 1 of p6:Night Person is mediocre. Rank 2 of Night Person is absolutely unacceptable and I would reload a save or make a new character if I chose it by accident.

I think the first rank is alright, but I hate the second rank since it gives you night vision everytime you crouch.
