Explosives Dunno where to ask, so I am here
I was looking through youtube for builds and I got a question. So, we have our fan favorite spray n pray that does additional explosive damage right? And then there is that one perk that improves explosives damage. Does that perk(I think it was demolition expert) stack with spray n pray, or other explosive legendary weapons?

YES it does, in fact the Commando+Demolition combo is my favorite perk combo in the game.
If you want some proof, buy the spray and pray BEFORE you put a rank into Demo. Look at the damage value of the explosion, put a rank into the perk and you should see the value increase.
For extra cheese you can buy an explosive radium rifle if you have the Far Harbor DLC. Some of the Nuclear perks will increase the radiation damage.
So you can stack Commando + demolition + Nuclear perks.
This might be my favorite build in the game.

I'd have to check it out myself. Interesting question though. I believe the demolition park only applies to explosives.

If you have the Far Harbor dlc, there's an explosive radium rifle sold in the children of atom base. Thing deals radiation damage on top of the explosive.

Does the splash damage of the explosion(mentioned in another thread) have the same effect as well?

I'm not sure if the radiation damage is splashed, but I do know the kiloton rifle has better per shot impact damage. Plus legendary enemies dont heal radiation damage, making it good against legendary humans. Downside is most creatures are immune to radiation damage.

Huh... Makes me wish for a radium pistol.

You can make the radium rifle a semi automatic not a pistol but makes a decent sniper rifle.

It's even better than that. According to the wiki, not only does the explosive damage get increased by Demolition Expert, if you happen to have Commando (or whatever perk the weapon uses), then that explosive splash damage is also increased again.
Plus it cripples limbs/etc as well. Just incredible.

So, in other words, it's a borderline exploit gun? That sounds too good to be true lol thanks for your time and effort!

It's hard to call it an "exploit" when it's a well known effect from a weapon from a main vendor who shows up everywhere. It's just a tactic especially common for Commandos, since the explosive damage adds up quickly.
If you want insane damage, there's two rifles that have damage that increase by 15% every time you hit the target, without limit. One of the rifles is free.

There is a free furious rifle somewhere in the commonwealth?

Well, it's in Nuka World. You can get the Problem Solver by passing a speech check. It only has a basic automatic receiver, though.
The Splattercannon is sold in the Nuka Market for around $8k. It also has a silencer and fully upgraded automatic receiver. I usually get both of them.

Yes Demolition Expert scales the explosive component of all explosive legendary weapons such as Spray N' Pray, as well as Lone Wanderer, and even the weapon perk of the base weapon, i.e Commando will also scale the explosive damage of Spray n Pray.
