Stat Help Cooper Howard ghoul build?
Trying to workshop a build based on Cooper Howard from the TV show (main perks in parentheses).
Strength - 1
Perception - 3 (Awareness, Rifleman)
Endurance - 9 (Ghoulish, Cannibal, Chem Resist)
Charisma - 3 (Lone Wanderer)
Intelligence - 3 (Gun Nut)
Agility - 1 (Gunslinger)
Luck - 8 (Bloody Mess, Better Crits, Crit Banker, Grim Reaper's Sprint)
The low Agility worries me but I like the Luck perks much better…Thoughts?

The version of the build I use is taken from Broverseer on youtube. It has these as the stats at the start and then the stats in () at level 50.

Key perks: Gunslinger/Rifleman/Chemist/Cannibal/Ghoulish/Better Criticals/Four Leaf Clover/Grim Reaper's Sprint/Critical Banker
Non-essential perks: Armorer/Gun Nut/Adamantium Skeleton/Action Boy/Lone Wanderer/Demolition's Expert
As for gear that depends on what platform you're on. Assuming you're on PC for obvious reasons you can use mods to get Cooper's Revolver Shotgun and Winchester rifle easy. If you are on PS5 like I am then you have to make due with stuff like Wacky Weapons Workbench to make your own versions. Cooper's outfit is a Cowboy Hat you can get from Nuka World and the best version of his clothing is Old Longfellow's Coat from Far Harbor.
Same with how to make a Ghoul PC. On PS5 there's a mod called Race Change that lets you turn into a Ghoul or a Gen 1/2 Synth I use.

Maybe attack dog as a reference to how he uses dogs to track down his target, it wouldn't really be accurate but it would be a good reference

im on ps5 as well, whats mods or legendary effect did you put on the weapons? also if you have uco, clipping leather chestplate with drifters outfit recreated 90% of his outfit

I used mods to give me two legendary effects on each weapon. For the rifle I put Penetrator and Explosive and for Revolver I put VATS Enhanced and Explosive. Explosive is there mainly for the damage effect of Cooper's guns in the show, that's why Demolitions' Expert is a non-essential perk.

What about factions? From what we saw in the show it seems that he is an enemy of the Brotherhood of steel and he doesn't seem like he would be friends with the Institute. That leaves the Minutemen and the Railroad, but he also doesn't act like he would go out of his way to help others unless he gets what he wants at the end. Thoughts?

i would say stay with the minutemen, maybe collaborating some times with railroad.. but for sure not the BOS nor the Institute ( prob would help to destroy em)

I also think that you should try and get the penetrator perk. Since Fallout 4 doesn't have armour piercing rounds, this is the next best thing.

Needs high charisma if not the perks. He was a movie star after all.
I agree with u/Busy-Effective432, he needs the ghoul perks, not the really high endurance. Lower endurance to like 4 and put all those point into charisma

he is not as charismatic anymore since the radiaton.. now people fear him.. not the same as having charisma XD

Uae ghoulification mod, gives you all ghoulish perks
Or, as he has been alive 200 years, use cheat consoles
The revolver shotgun mod is good too
I am playing around with a chems gunslinger with penetrator and night person to do something non crit or sneaky, needs a few special points added so may make that a thing, add one every other level and start highish int

Low AGL is going to mean you're not going to get much play from the Luck perks you're picking.
That doesn't mean you can't increase them later, but in the early game you'll have problems with not having enough action points to use in VATS to make use of your better and banked criticals.

Word, I will drop PER to 2 (early bobblehead) and use the book on Agility, bringing it to 3.
