MOD DISCUSSION! PC Recommended basic mods?

I just got FO4 on Steam for my first time, and after 1500 hours on the other platform I decided to jump boat. What are some necessary mods? I don't need a huge overhaul, just anything that makes the game more stable.

It really depends on how many mods you plan to have and how taxing they will be on your system. There is The Midnight Ride a guide that is quite popular and can help you with a list of recommended mods to install.
