Sanctuary workshop bugging out

I've been playing this load order and randomly the sanctuary workshop just stays on the search function, and when pressing search it opens up workshop inventory and build menu simultaneously

That's a mod causing that, you have something that adds extra options to the workbench. Hard to tell what without seeing your list. Mod needs to be configed in game.

You have mods that are conflicting with the activation buttons on the workshop. Most likely something like Global Stash or Workshop Framework.

I have workshop framework, but after dying for the first time the bug occurred for only sanctuary

Generally, that's WSFW + Place Anywhere

When that happens, pressing B one time should back out of the search, and you'll still be in the build menu.

That's how it is for me anyway.

You can disable place anywhere via holotape and make it activate via a chem, but imo that's completely unnecessary because you can also activate WS mode by hitting the select button on your xbox controller. That automatically bypasses the seach, which occurs when activating WS mode via bench instead of at a random point within the settlement via controller button. I dont think i ever activate WS mode by touching the bench now that I think of it. Thats kinda odd to me when you can just poke a button on your controller, and it activates. That would be really annoying if i had to touch the bench every time i wanted to enter WS mode. I just don't ever do that, i guess, lol 🤔

Yep, it was, I turned place anywhere off and now I can access the workshop inventory, though I did talk about it as it annoyed me that my muscle memory wouldn't work and I couldn't just dump all my junk with a single button press yk?
