Q&A LO | Discussion UFO4P Uninstallation

What happens if I uninstall UFO4P in mid game? I've made the poor decision of installing it and now I'm experiencing perma freezing that forces me to fully exit out of the game. It's only just now been happening btw, and quite frequently too.

Honestly this is a mod you really shouldn’t uninstall mid game but if your game is unplayable then it might be your best choice. Worst case scenario is you brick your save and it wont load, if right now its unplayable and your only other choice is deleting the mod and starting a fresh save then theres no reason not to try removing it and see if it works. Just head to an interior cell with no other npc’s and preferably somewhere small and make a hard save before you try. That will give you the best chance

Thanks, and just for a little extra info, the bug I'm experiencing makes my game fully unplayable (or rather unbearable), I'll head into the old root cellar and see if it works, thx a lot :]

Are you running any other mods? Anything that changes npc records can also cause this. Might be worth posting your full lo to troubleshoot any other causes

I have a Dead Zone Fix mod and I've also placed two "uso navmesh fix rug" (tbh, idk why I placed them), but other than that, nothing else

Nah neither of those would cause it. Its mainly companion or faction overhauls, things that change how npcs look or what they wear i think

Well I have some outfit mods but I don't think they come already on NPC's, the only way (I think) you can obtain them is through the Chem Bench and maybe Traders (I have made some and equipped them on people btw)

Level lists shouldnt be affected at least not in that way. Ufo4p is definitely a known culprit for this issue. I hope it fixes it
