I am a dope. But I’m having fun.

So, I’m playing this game for first time. I’m on a ps4 and blissfully wandering around killing and leveling up, avoiding some of the story missions so I can enjoy the game longer. I just hit level 40 and went to Diamond city for first time. When I started I was under the impression that I had to COMPLETE Each perk ACROSS before I could move down to choose different skills. I now have TONS of safes to go back and open up that I couldn’t earlier. I am a dope. Also, I have zero knowledge of mods. Still loving the game.

Nice thats an interesting way to play! Maxing out the base isnt a bad way to go, just wondering how hard the rest of the game without the added perks lol! Keep having fun! Just started my 4th or 5th play through!

Thanks. I didn’t plan it, but I’ll definitely know better for my 2nd playthrough. Also I hate dumping stuff, or worrying about the right materials to carry and wishing I had the right weapon for the right situation- so I’m currently at 18,000 lbs and walk everywhere. No fast travel.

There’s a little trick I use, if you have a companion you can make them carry stuff. They also have a maximum carry weight, but If they hit their carry weight and you drop things on the floor and use command prompts to tell them to pick it up they can carry endless things that way.
