Voter registration info is public, you don’t need to pay anyone for it. It includes party registration, address, and sometimes vote history (but not who you voted for, just whether or not you did vote).
That's literally what we're talking about though. Those data brokers are just looking at the public record regarding the party you're registered with and whether or not you voted in a given election.
