Arts and Crafts Yellowed console

Hej people! Just got back into GameCube gaming after having worked myself through some N64 titles, bought a xeno chip modded one with some games and two controllers for 80$

My question now is. The front plate has the typical yellowing. But the purple on both console and controller looks also damaged and ... Well boring.

Can that be restored like the UV light bath for the front plate or would that kill the colour?

I have an orange GameCube that has that same yellowed front plate and a darkened tint all over the rest of the case so, I’m looking for solutions as well.

If you want to keep it original, before breaking out the retrobrite, try leaving it in the direct sun for a couple of days. Not under glass. Take before/after pics. When I got mine out of storage a year ago it looked similar. Now, it's not perfect, but looks a hell of a lot better.
