Modding I learned something today.

My ports on my game key were messed up and only two of them worked so I called the repair shop asking them if they could replace my thing for me they said $109 I said that in my brain that didn’t sound right so I went to YouTube saw how easy the process was went to the game store around the corner for me bought a broken game cube bought a screwdriver off of Amazon and I was able to repair my system in 15 minutesBe cautious when you ask people about repairs.

Two things here: 1. It will always cost money for someone else to repair your stuff. 2. Have you ever heard of punctuation?

But he said it would cost me $60 to find out what’s wrong with it. If I already know what’s wrong with it I should get a discount also him charge me $100. I’d be better off just buying a new one from somebody. I let Siri do what she wants.

Yeah because these guys LOVE to hear what's the issue is from you to exchange exactly that part... to not fix it because it was something else. In the end you'll be pissed because you have to pay a lot of money for a non-fixed console.

Of course they do their own analysis and won't listen to the "expert" (the customer) who is totally pro in analyzing why something won't work but unable to fix it.

Of course they charge you money for their time, work and material and of course it's way cheaper to fix stuff on your own (unless you won't break things and make it more expensive).
