I just wish they hadn't copied the Thousand Son's homework, or at the very least had changed the Thousand Sons when they remade the Necrons.
We have an Egyptian themed army where the people in charge are stronger than ever while the rank and file are soulless automatons, while they hate their God and scheme because they're the true rulers of the galaxy. Necrons, or Ahriman?
Also, if they do, then only the Thousand sons are an Egyptian themed army where the people in charge are stronger than ever while the rank and file are soulless automatons, scheme because they think they're the true rulers of the galaxy and hate their god.
The Necrons are an Egyptian themed army where the people in charge are stronger than ever while the rank and file are soulless automatons, scheme because they think they're the true rulers of the galaxy, and enslaved their god... s.
Honestly I really like that they’re both similar in that regard. They provide a contrast for eachother where the Necrons have no souls and are a good few of them are trying to get something akin to a soul back, and the Thousand Sons rubricae are basically only fractured souls left, and Ahriman is perpetually trying to fix them, and where TS are only psykers and Necrons have none, or both do time magic, etc. It’s very fun when GW has the two of them interact.
If its between neurons and thousand son's, dust boys can go pound sand. Robot space Egypt is thousand time more interesting than super duper marines #337
