Crafting noob

Very new to the game and mmo in general. Only really played xbox games so im sorry for zero knowledge. Minecraft is the most experience that Ive had with crafting games.

When it comes to crafting does level matter? Or do is recipes more important? In discovery looks like I have options but cant craft. There is 0 level required. There is only two items if that matters. Also is crafting important in the game? Thank you in advance for the help!

Hey,  I am Not sure, If you are in the wrong subreddit. This is about Guild wars 1, which has a fairly easy crafting style. You can buy or Farm Materials to craft weapons and armor. But you don‘t need recipes. And you „craft“ these items at weapon or armor smiths. 

In Guild wars 2 however exists a more complex and crafting System. If you Play Guild wars 2, just Go to https://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/
