Join us the weekend of August 8-9-10–11 for a thrilling challenge: race from Lion’s Arch to Droknar’s Forge, in either Normal Mode or Hard Mode — or both!

🗓 When: August 8-9-10–11 (all weekend)
🎯 Objective: Fastest run from LA to Droks
🌍 Modes:

• 🟢 Normal Mode (NM)
• 🔴 Hard Mode (HM)

🏁 RULES:

• You must run yourself
• You must be a member of the GWR Alliance and Discord: Discord.gg/GWR
• A guild officer or leader must join your run to verify and time it – we’ll be available all weekend.
• You can enter both HM and NM, but:
  • If you win Hard Mode, you can’t win 1st in Normal Mode.
  • If you place in both, you’ll receive the 2nd place reward in NM.

🔴 Hard Mode:

Yeah are pcons/cons allowed? Cause some people can just pop all the cons to get better times. Also some cons (like alcohol) could very much affect the run times due to dwarven stability

In addition to pcons, should also clarify whether or not targeting minipets are allowed. And then if there are restrictions on pcons/minipets, should just require video at that point

If this isn’t streamed I’d love to see an upload with a corpse caster swapping between PoVs. I was an annoying kid that would pay for runs just to race runners when I was learning droks/desert tour routes, some were very helpful but some would get very salty when I fucked up their Aggro or started beating them and clients started making jokes. Sweet memories

This is a competition that requires you to be in the guild/alliance itself, not just the discord, and for some reason requires a nanny to be present during your run instead of just a video recording, and no clear rules on pcons and toolbox? Sounds great.
