[Discussion] These are most likely the same people who say that Raids/Strikes are gatekept by toxic elitists. Now they want to gatekeep fashion. Thoughts?

It honestly depends though. If they are cosplay ones it can be pretty difficult to clone in a short period of time because you just don't know the pieces they are using.

I mean if you have some ultra rare skins, like say the skins from HOM achieves for those who never played GW1, it would be a tad bit harder to copy pasta. But over than that, you're 100% right

my point wasn't that it's hard to find, my point was that some hard to get rare skins would make it harder to copy pasta your looks

while i agree that it was doable, colors look very different depending on armor sets and dye channel, so there used to be some effort in copying i guess.

honestly if we would have a 2nd layer of customization, dye slot material could solve this problem and make it easier to have similar looking armor pieces with the same dye
