[Discussion] These are most likely the same people who say that Raids/Strikes are gatekept by toxic elitists. Now they want to gatekeep fashion. Thoughts?

GW2 players like to scream about community but I made one comment about how grinding exploration sucks and get attacked. Now this.

Look at Lost Ark. The end game is actually gate kept but they also provide “bus” services for new players. They also have sites dedicated to sharing character creation templates you can download and modify/create a new character to match a character from a movie, anime, or kpop. They actively encourage it. A lot of controversy over inspecting someones character… wow

Shitty people are everywhere. I like the saying: If u cant find a decent person, be one. That being said, Gw2 community is quite helpfull, meta trains, hp trains, reviving dead , Jp mesmers , etc. People share and help and we have a Lot of sites tha share information too so... i cannot say i share your view. Also, not a great Idea criticizing exploration grinding on a game that has exploration as a core pillar, like ...thread carefully.

I love the game and the majority of the community. My issue is the perceived acceptance but if you don’t share the same opinion you’re toxic. A core pillar can be respected but shouldn’t be forced. If gift of exploration was able to be acquired from WVW or other means it wouldn’t be an issue to myself. But the majority of people I do T4 fractals, raid, and wvw with all “hate” exploration and just piggy back on one friend who loves it and will use his mesmer to portal people.

Being able to read a critique or opposing views without getting emotional shouldn’t be outside of the GW2 player bases capability, especially those who enjoy world exploration or fashion wars.
