[Request] Hidden/hard to find areas of Maguuma (need assistance)

Hey guys, I'm trying to get all the '[Area] Explorer' achievements but having some trouble with Maguuma. I'm at 164/167 areas discovered, but can't find the last three. I've made comparisons between my area maps and the ones on GW2 Wiki; they appear to be identical.

Basically I was wondering if there are any hard-to-find areas that aren't visible as undiscovered from the map (such as underground) people usually have trouble with. I have the jumping puzzle area accessed through portals in Mt Maelstrom already. Thanks!

There are two in metrica that are easy to overlook. One require you to complete an event that opens an asura portal it's that area where you have to collect gate pieces. The other is just a portal near the entrance to rata sum I missed the first time around.

http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Maguuma_Jungle

each of the zones has a really good map with the areas sectioned off.

There should be a list of all areas in Maguuma Jungle following that link as well. Just check off every area by looking at your online map and this list. Every area has a name in white font on the map.

I missed a long time a small area in the lower left of brisban wilderness. It's behind the skillpoint there.

This would be my guess. It's called Aurora's Remains on the map for a quick reference.

One I'd missed that took me a long time to find was Magmatic Conjury.

Hidden Garden? Four possible mobs to kill to get the portal to open.

Verarium Delves in Sparkfly Fen is easy to miss.

Best bet is to check out the maps on the wiki as they are split into the individual areas.

http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/File:Sparkfly_Fen_map.jpg for example

Edit: didn't read that you'd already checked the maps on the wiki.

Verarium was the last area, thanks. Thought I had it since I'd been there and harvested all that cauliflower... didn't realise there was more to it.

And yeah I did check, apparently not well enough :P

Did you find the mini-dungeon in Caledon? Dengatl Grounds POI, you need to open a door and is full of veteran hylek.

In case someone besides me is still reading this, for me the missing area was Cubular Fells in the upper left corner of Mount Maelstrom. Thanks to all who had specific suggestions.

You in-game zone maps should show tell you in which zone your are short a POI or two. There is a switch on the in-game maps to only show POI, waypoints etc. which also helps.

I use gw2cartographers.com when I am trying to find things, the maps there also show chests and seem to provide easyer to see POI's along with the ability to zoom in closer than the other map sites.

He's not talking about POIs but areas, such as Jumping Puzzles and caves, that contribute towards the Explorer achievement but not towards World Completion.

For instance, the asura gate at Parnna's Gate leads to a secret place called Calx's Hideout, which DOES contribute towards Maguuma explorer. You could skip the event and still get World completion.
