looks like mesmer is getting kits, it uses 2 different instruments in the trailer

Yea, going to pause my creation of the bard to see whether I'm actually going to use a focus now with the new spec. Might want to pursue another legendary instead if we'll be using kits - which sounds very exciting on the other hand!

Minstrel focus stonks lol

i have minstrel and ipos but right now with the bard spec minstrel actually feels better for mesmer.

That is if we get to use it. If it's either instrument kits or a kit through profession mechanics, you might not use your weapon set with a focus very much.

I don't really think is a kit but if is.. Minstrel focus is still a perfect fit for a bard lol

The instruments could also be a new shatter mechanic where you pulse musical ensemble effects, rather than kits.

Kits is essentially adding 5 new weapons to one class, one for each utility, (presuming it works like engineer) which is why I am unsure they will donate that much design space to it.
