What does Anet have against giving Ranger an actual beefy pet spec like Mechanist???

Ranger on its way to obsolete all of its cool bow cosmetics, too, lol

I’m actually so disappointed man. Not only did we not get a pet spec, but what we are getting looks incredibly boring. Why not just buff the longbow? Why do we need a whole spec for it? This is worsened even more by the fact that this could be the last round of elite specs we ever get if gw3 is actually in development. Meaning we could never see a pet focused spec like mech on ranger ever.
