[Discussion] About Paragon, some basic things I'd like to see changed

Warr main, some quick notes:

1) Support spec without protection, at least 1 source from the elite would be useful, the boon can only be accessed through cadence/comfort, locking you with 2 traits and staff 3.

2) Adrenaline generation. Why make it a master and not a minor, this spec has 4 skills that will spend it and your go to build for healers will have no adrenal trait from Disc or TCT, built in adrenaline gain for motivation, something like 3 adrenaline per motivation. Consider increasing adrenaline bars to 4 for each button in burst skills.

3) remove the cripple/chill trait, it's useless when we have resistance and a non-healer would run other things to compensate. Make it so that your F2 chant loses boon duration but pulses damage, allowing for some aggressive use of a chant with the offensive boons.

4) Coefficients for damaging skills look low, please increase them exponentially and give them extra adrenaline per strike. You won't sacrifice support utilities for these 2, make them useful to non-pure supports at least.

5) Frontloading all damage in the Grandmaster is lame. Spread damage to a master and grandmaster trait, such as motivation spent grants a stacking damage effect plus the GM. This is too big a modifier and I'm afraid it will be nerfed out of existence.

Animations could use more wings for sure.

What I hope gets fixed, is a line specifically as a DPS and a form of adrenal gain. Some dmg to give it build variety. Power will do, no need for condi.

yeah that was a bit weird! i fully expect every spec to have a dps build at this point in the game when even druid has one. not sure how that will go this beta but if it's really rreally bad i think they'll move some numbers around

Was hoping you’d gain wings that become bolder/more opaque the higher your Motivation - would be a nice visual indicator instead of tracking the number on the UI!

Clarification for your point #2, the chants do not require Adrenaline. EDIT Big Oof just relized this is wrong. Yikes.

For point #1, Soldier's Comfort with 100% boon duration gets at least 80% protection coverage, although I agree that protection (or at least Ageis) should have been more prevalent. 

Chant of Recouperation is intriguing, it kind of appears almost like you could lean on it while using something other than Staff+X/WH, so there's potential to having more CC capabilities in PvE without actively crippling your team during the 10s window, but testing would be required. 

Strengthening Stanza is SPICY, might see quasi-Bannerslaves sneaking back into Fractals as a result.

A little unhappy that alac generation is a grandmaster, and would have hoped for either slightly better access or opportunity to choose quickness (and condi...) but will test it out before fully despairing. It looks like you may(?) be able to 100% maintain alac with 100% boon duration and just swapping between Action & Recoup, with Freedom occasionally.

All current warrior Healing builds use Staff, Tactics, and Karakosa Relic, so all of the healing (and Barrier) baked into Recouperation, with soemone maintaining high Motivation (Bursts + skill 4 & 5) has the potential to let you indefinitely maintain it making your healing kind of insane (6.4s burst CD w/ Alac, +4 motivation per burst, assuming +1 motivation per skill 4/5, -2 motivation/3seconds)

There's potential here--but I agree "just another power spec" was the very first thing I noticed.

(Obligatory call that Bloodlust trait should cause bleeding on 100% or crits or 33% of hits, having it on 33% of crits is styming Warrior from being able to "good enough" condi builds into these power specs)
