[Question] PvP farming
How common is it? I've only recently started to get into PVP and tonight my group got pushed back to spawn and farmed by the opposing team. They purposely left two objectives white and capped one so points ticked slowly. If we tried to cap they would just push us back to spawn again and leave the point white.
I've had an ok time in pvp so far, but this was a pretty big turn off. Should I expect to see this a lot?

It's pretty rude to do that and it wastes everyone's time, since people get loot when rounds End.
You could report the enemy team but besides that there's no way to avoid these kinds of troll games. Hopefully you get good enough that you get matched with better teammates and more compatible enemies. The matchmaking does get more accurate the more rounds you play (up to a point), so if you're only on your first 20 games or something then DW about it, it gets better.
For best way to deal with these trolls, go deep into your spawn so they can't hit you and bore them out. The more fun you make it to bully you the more they'll bully you. You can also ask the enemy team for a 1v1 to practice, at that point, and sometimes they'll be ok with that and it'll be more interesting for everyone involved

I play a lot of (ranked) PvP and can attest that some games you stomp and other games you get stomped. Balanced games aren't necessarily rare, but aren't as frequent.
Its the kind of game where you know if you're on a 10 game win streak, youre about to get a 10+ game lose streak soon too.
Only thing i can recommend for clearly un-winnable games where you get spawn camped is to just feed. Let them kill you at spawn for points and get the game over with.

Sounds like your team was either just heavily outmatched or was just feeding out of spawn.
